Ch. 9 — Show Your Strength.

Twenty steps Xin Yu managed to take easily. In these twenty steps, he always stepped his foot on a footstone that was a bit brightly colored. Because, his hunch said that the brightly colored stepping stone had absolutely no hidden danger.

Dozens of lightning arrows suddenly appeared the walls of the passageway and instantly surrounded Xin Yu from all directions. He seemed to have no other way but to accept his death.

“What if you do! Quickly use your secret technique,” exclaimed the team leader reminded Xin Yu. Because, the secret trap in this hallway has been active.

Quickly, Xin Yu instantly cast an ancient incantation and her body instantly turned into a shadow.

Heilong immediately took out his new heirloom sword and made the area around where he stood filled with an aura of darkness energy that was so powerful.

Heilong then slashed his sword randomly dispelling every lightning arrow that was heading towards him. He had not prepared any suitable swordsmanship in front of the demons. So, he decided not to use any style so as not to arouse suspicion.

“It turns out this sword is really strong.”

Heilong could clearly see that all of the lightning youngsters that shot towards him instantly shattered into pieces upon coming into contact with the aura of darkness energy emanating from his heirloom sword. What would happen if this heirloom sword slashed at an object directly?

The power of this Darkness Dance Sword could be aligned with the Heaven Guard Sword which was the strongest heirloom weapon in the twelve heavenly treasures.

“The boy turned out to have an heirloom sword that was so powerful. I must have that sword any way.”

Evil intent began to appear in the heart of the team leader after seeing the power possessed by the Darkness Dance Sword. The aura of darkness emanating from that heirloom sword alone had been able to make his body feel alive in the deepest part of the Underworld. It could be imagined what kind of advantage he would obtain if the heirloom sword was to fall into his hands.

It was not only the team leader who started to have malicious intentions on Heilong. Even all of the team members currently had the same intention of possessing the Darkness Dance Sword. It seemed that not a single demon could resist the temptation of this heirloom sword.

The darkness energy was so strong, the demons were so strong. Just these two things alone were enough to attract the greed possessed by the demons.

Regardless of the surroundings, Heilong continued to slash his sword in all directions and managed to destroy all of the lightning arrows after ten breaths.

Meanwhile the current Xin Yu had returned into the group and stood beside the team leader. He did not have the courage to continue his steps after a failure.
