Ch. 4 — Tasks And Punishment.

Li Ting nodded. “Good! Since you have realized all your wrongs then I will ease your punishment. But, I will not eliminate your punishment because the punishment still has to be done so that no other God imitates your mistakes in the future.”

“Hamba ready to receive punishment,” replied Zhi Ming firmly. The chains of light that ensnared his body slowly began to disappear. However, he was still sitting in his place in a prostrating position while waiting for the punishment that the Supreme God would inflict on him.

Li Ting then turned his gaze towards Heilong and released the chain of light that ensnared his body with just a flick of a hand.

“Although you are a newcomer to this God Realm but the mistakes you have committed cannot be forgiven. I will also punish you just like Zhi Ming.”

“I am willing to accept punishment,” replied Heilong firmly. He did not want to seek justification for the commotion that had just occurred because he himself realized that he could not keep his own emotions until something like this had to happen.

The Supreme God also nodded his head at Heilong as a sign that he liked Heilong's obedience. He then stepped down from his throne and walked up to the two of them and showed a picture of a great war event before them both with a special technique.

The Gods and Demons fought each other for a gemstone. The entire universe shook as if it was about to collapse as a result of the great battle.

However, the two of them did not know when the great battle had taken place. What was clear was that the battle had been going on for a very long time since the figure of Li Ting participating in the battle was still very young.

Zhi Ming was able to recognize the figures of the four Celestial Emperors involved in the battle. While Heilong could only recognize the figure of the Supreme God alone.

The battle between the Four God Emperors and the Seven Demon Lords was extremely fierce and took a very long time.

“That gemstone of life was finally brought to the Underworld by the Seven Demon Lords and hidden in the most secret place in the Underworld Basis.” Li Ting gave a slight explanation after the picture of the battle ended.

“Why are you showing us this picture? Is the gemstone of life still in the hands of the demons?” Heilong caught a hidden plan from Li Ting's remarks.

Li Ting nodded. “My visual power and the other three Celestial Emperors are unable to break through the bottom of the Underworld. So, I want the two of you to infiltrate the Underworld and reclaim the Life Gemstone from the hands of the Demon Lords. In addition to the task, this can be used as a redeemer for mistakes that have been for both of you to do.”

If the Gemstone of Life could be snatched from the hands of the Demon Lords, the Devil Nation would lose hope of revealing the secret of eternity. And, something like this will make a great contribution to the creation of peace for all three worlds.
