LDP S3: The Jewel of the Underworld

Ch. 51 — Three World Secrets.

After passing through a fairly long dimensional portal, Heilong finally landed in a Small World that was not much different from the underworld, where the dark Qi dominated all parts of this small world.

The power of such a domineering set of giant chains suppressed all the gigantic sea monster figures that were inside this prison and rendered them all unable to move.

Each of those sea monsters emanated an extremely ancient aura from his body. Because, the purity of such aura is very rare and usually only owned by Divine Beasts.

“Why are there so many sea monsters imprisoned in this place? Was this Underworld once an ocean?”

A theory about the formation of the universe suddenly appeared in Heilong's mind when he saw all the sea monsters that were in front.

Some types of fish in this prison are those that have scales like Dragons and some have wings like Phoenix birds. Perhaps these two types of fish are descendants of the Dragon and Phoenix.

“Yes you said it was true. This underworld used to be an ocean that was the living place of monsters.”

A male voice suddenly sounded from behind and shocked Heilong.

He immediately turned to see who the figure of the owner of the voice that turns out there is a stork that has white wings and a black tail and the beak and legs are red bloods.

The aura pressure displayed by the stork was also not inferior to the Divine Beasts who were quite close to Heilong.

“Who are you?”

Heilong immediately asked because only this stork monster looked different inside this prison. And, the body of this stork is not wrapped in chains which means that this stork is not a prisoner in this prison.

“I am Tian Che, the guardian of the ancient Devil monster prison.”

The stork seemed to look quite friendly when introducing itself. However, he did not change his form to human form to make it easier to communicate with Heilong. Is it possible that this stork does not have the ability to change its shape?

“An Ancient Demon Monster?!” Heilong repeated a part of the name of this prison while thinking hard.

The term ancient Demon monster was not something new to Heilong because the mount Beast that Dark Etheroz used when fighting him also included golong one of the Ancient Demon Race. However, Heilong never expected that their numbers would be quite large in this place.

One ancient Demon monster alone had almost made the Divine Beasts quail so they had to ask for Gremlin's help. Then what if all these ancient Demon monsters could escape from this prison?

“Why? Have you previously met one of the Ancient Demon Race?” Tian Che then asked after seeing Heilong's strange expression when he heard the name of this prison.

Heilong nodded. “Not only met, but I also managed to kill him along with his Master in the Human World.”

“What? Very presumptuous of those ancient Demon monsters to dare infiltrate the Human World and make a scene. Looks like this old master should get out and go back hunting.”

Such a burning hatred could be seen from Tian Che's eyes every time he spoke the word of the ancient Devil race. It seemed that he had a grudge that was difficult to reconcile with the Ancient Devil Race.

“Why do you look so angry? Do you have a personal grudge with the Ancient Demon Race?” Heilong could not help but ask.

“Not a grudge, but this is more to an agreement. Long ago, This Old Master made a pact to the young Ancient Demon Race that they would continue to hide in the depths of the underworld and not make any more fuss in the Human World as long as I was willing to stop hunting descendants the Ancient Devil Race.” Tian Che explained in sufficient detail as if repeating the events of the past.

“Did these Ancient Devil Races have the shape of sea monsters?”

“Too long if it should be explained in words. Besides, maybe you'll also have trouble understanding my words. Therefore look at this memory flake myself.”

Tian Che then took out something from his forehead and turned into a gigantic mirror that showed a picture of the initial creation of the three worlds.

Similar to what ancestor Xiao Zhao once said when Heilong met him inside the ancient ruins, these Three Worlds were actually just a ball floating in this vast Universe.

Inside the ball there are thousands of stars that have different light from one another. However, if you look more carefully, actually the inside of the ball is divided into three parts, namely the sky, air and sea.

The Underworld which was dominated by the ocean was the birthplace for the Monster Race and the first monsters created were the sea monster type.

The Middle World which was dominated by air was inhabited by the Human Race. Therefore, humans always hang their lives on the air.

Whereas the upper world, was only inhabited by an enormous tree and radiated an extremely rich Qi of light. The tree was the Tree of Life Origin, the counterbalance of the Dark Origin Tree that existed in the Underworld.

Each section has different terrain conditions according to the nature of the place. For example, the Upper World is filled with floating island-shaped land or the Underworld which is filled with coral-shaped land.

Only the Middle World has a land that is a little special because the shape of the land is easy to reshape, namely the land.

Every living being that existed in the Underworld and Middle World always gazed towards the sky hoping to stay there after gaining enlightenment which would later be referred to as the occupants of the sky.

The human race that managed to gain enlightenment and ascend to the upper World will be called Gods, while the monster race will be called Divine Beasts.

Until finally the Devil's Birth Lake appeared in the Underworld and damaged the balance and peace in the three worlds because it was able to create a New Race that is very evil that is the Devil Race.

Of course the ones most affected with the appearance of the Demon Birth Lake were the Monster Race who were the original inhabitants of the Underworld.

From then on, the existence of the Monster Race continued to shrink and was replaced by the Devil Race. Therefore, the forms of the Demon Race were mostly the Monster Race because they were actually the Monster Race that had been poisoned by the demonic air power.

Not enough to get there, it turns out that this demonic air poison has also touched the middle world and created the Demon man and the upper world and created the Demon King.

Until in the end the Gods and Divine Beasts took action and made a special seal on the borders of each world so that the demonic eve poison could not break through. And, these seals would usually be guarded by Divine Beasts.

All the images on the giant mirror finally disappeared after the appearance of the Demon Race.

Heilong had indeed heard the story of the creation of the entire universe. However, only this time he saw firsthand the history of the three worlds in great detail.

He became even more amazed after witnessing firsthand the secret of the creator of the three worlds. At first he thought that the three worlds had encompassed the entire universe.

However, in reality the three worlds were only a small part of the vast Universe. That meant that his cultivation journey was still long and the God Realm was not the last stop.

“It is fitting that ancestor Xiao Zhao said that he left the three worlds in search of a higher Realm,” Heilong muttered softly after witnessing all this.
