JOHN THE MERCENARY
CHAPTER 049 - AUGUST 13, 1998.
With a heavy heart, John had to tell Agnes the reason, even though it was very painful for her.
John took a deep breath and,
“Formerly, I had a lover. He works as a Manager at a mining company.”
“One morning, as I was about to pick up my lover to return to her house, I saw Tom with his men being with her at a coffee shop located near the company where she worked.”
“At first, I thought they were talking about business and negotiating, like clients in general.”
“I also decided to return to the car and wait for it to finish.”
“Somewhat happened to their conversation, all the bodyguards and Tom's men kidnapped and brought my lover into the car.”
“When I chased the car, the woman was thrown out of the car, with a bullet stuck in her head.”
“When I got out of the car and approached him who was lying on the side of the road. All my body, very limp instantly.”
“I desperately want to cut off their organs one by one, and see his death slowly.”
“I shouted calling her name out loud, which made everyone around me look very pitiful.”
“When I wanted to find the man, a calamity suddenly came to me which made me have to return to this cursed country.”
“And as I was about to let go of all my dark past, and take off the KILLING MACHINE, as my nickname, that bastard reappeared in my life.”
“More or less, that's my story. So, I had to kill Tom in the most painful way, by feeling his death slowly.”
John's fire-like eyes held all his anger, while his heart cried as he recalled the sad story.
“Gosh. I am so excited about your story. You have a pretty good reason to take revenge on him.”
Agnes's eyes began to glaze over upon hearing John's very sad story.
Now, Agnes will keep her promise. John was able to extract information from RUGAL, the advanced technology it possesses.
“RUGAL, you heard everything, didn't you? Then, you can answer all the questions of Mr. John.”
“Good, Mistress.”
“I want to know, what Tom did on August 13, 1998.”
“She's pretty busy.”
Rugal brings up all the activities Tom does on the monitor screen.
“To be exact at 5 pm, he was in a coffee shop located near the mining company.”
“There is a 70 percent chance of him engaging in secret talks with someone,” Rugal replied.
“And who was present at the meeting?”
John kept asking and digging for information on RUGAL.
Rugal brings up 4 people on his monitor screen, one of whom is Tom and his ex-girlfriend, with 2 others who seem to be their clients.
“Why did they have that meeting? And why do they kill women who work in mining companies?”
“Because the woman knows some very important confidential information.”
*BRAKE!!!!
“FUCK!! I've expected.”
John yells and hits the table, as he has guessed what caused Tom to kill his ex-girlfriend.
“Then, what is Tom talking about with 2 other clients?”
John stood up and stared at the RUGAL monitor screen.
“There is a possibility, he is selling illegal weapons, instead of talking about mining business.”
John sat at the table thinking about what he should do next.
“Your girlfriend is, do you love her so much?” asked Agnes who saw John was very frustrated with the new news he got.
