JOHN THE MERCENARY

JOHN THE MERCENARY
CHAPTER 021 - A TOUGH BODYGUARD.

“Omong-by the way, what about the state of the man brought here with me?”

“The guy? Is he your bodyguard?” ask the doctor about Agnes.

Agnes only smiles when the Doctor says that John is her personal bodyguard.

“We put a cast on the thumb of his left foot. He also had a slight fracture in the bone, but the scan results were very normal.”

“Is that? It was a relief for me,” said Agnes.

“His physique is very strong, so he will be fine. Looks like the bodyguard was well trained.”

A hospital doctor also admitted, that John's physical is very strong.

“If you were hit by a collision like he did, it would be very bad for you, Madam. How lucky you are to have such a formidable bodyguard.”

The doctor kept saying that John was Agnes' personal bodyguard.

“According to you, he will realize tonight?” ask Agnes.

“Yes, of course. Maybe he's awake by now. Alright. Then, excuse me. If you need anything, please contact me anytime, Madam.”

“Alright, Doc.”

The doctor left Agnes' room after greeting Agnes and Deny who were also in the room.

Deny got up from her couch, then walked up to Agnes who was in bed.

“On the bodyguard or the banner man, or whoever it is, it will all be more difficult, especially if he opens his mouth, later,” Deny said to his wife.

“I'll use him as my personal bodyguard.”

I don't know what purpose Agnes intended to make John as her personal bodyguard.

“You think he'll agree?” ask Deny.

“Agreed? We don't know yet, if we don't try. Does it matter to you?” Agnes asked Deny back, which left her speechless.

“I have to keep the person I am most aware of, in order to stay by my side”

“Like, Anna?” sahut Deny's.

Deny continued to warn Agnes so that she would not do anything to her biological children.

As Deny was about to leave there to confront the reporters, a man entered the room where Agnes was being treated.

“Sister! Who did this to you? Are you all right? You look so fucked up.”

The man was Roy, Agnes' younger brother who served as president of a company.

“Other times tap first before going into my room. Be polite,” said Agnes.

“Gosh. I'm sorry, Brother.”

“You're here too, Sister-in-law?”

Roy also greeted Deny who was sitting on the sofa.

“Gosh. How are you, President Roy?”

Deny stood up and greeted Roy.

“I'm still the same as I used to be, Kak.”

Roy also returned to see his brother who was lying on the bed with a taut face.

“You okay, brother? It must be Tom, right? Gosh darn. I was expecting it.”

Agnes' sister also thought that this was all the work of Tom, who was also running for mayor and would become an enemy of Deny when the election arrived.

“Entah. I don't know,” replied Agnes.

“No. I'm sure it must have been Tom. He could do worse than that. Basics, assholes!”

“Gosh. I'm flabbergasted! It's so disrespectful! Haha. I'm sorry, Brother.”

Roy closed his mouth that unintentionally said rudely in front of his brother and sister-in-law.

Deny just laughed because he knew Roy's ridiculous behavior.

“Presdir Roy. If you seem to want to be polite in front of others, you should have a formal conversation with me, don't you?” said Agnes.
