JOHN THE MERCENARY
CHAPTER 029 - DO YOU WANT TO SEE KTP?
As he was about to rescue the little boy who was about to pass through the door of the hotel building, John was confronted by one of the bodyguards, who reprimanded the little boy.
“Wait a minute, Sir!”
As John was leaving, the bodyguard confronted John again.
“Excuse me! Wait!”
The bodyguard restrained John's shoulders from following the boy and Tom who were walking out.
John rushed away from there, because his plan had failed miserably.
The boy had gone out with Tom and his guards, which made it impossible for John to press the remote button to detonate the bomb.
Before John went far away from the place, the guards who had stopped John called him back. It seemed, the bodyguard had become suspicious of John's strange-looking behavior.
“Excuse me, Sir!”
John paused his steps and turned his back.
“I want to check you out. I hope you can work together.”
The bodyguard took out an identifying mark from his pocket, then showed it to John.
The identification card says he is a police officer.
However, John already knew that it was just a false identifier that he deliberately used.
As John's eyes looked at the bodyguard's hand, he saw a scar covered with tattoos.
The tattoo belonging to the bodyguard was exactly the same as the one John was fighting against as he was about to save the middle-aged woman, in the Deny building.
Unmistakable, the man who disguised himself as a police officer was one of Tom's men who fought with John, while John was in the Deny building the other day.
Although John already knew it, John had not shown any reaction to the man who also seemed to not remember John well.
“Please show your ID, Sir!”
The bodyguard asks for John's identity because he is suspicious.
“KTP? Would you like to see KTP?”
As John pulls his hand out of his suit pocket,
*BUKKKK!!!
John raises his fist and lands right on the jaw of Tom's guard, which makes him fall down.
The bodyguard got up and started fighting John.
The two of them struggled at each other in the hotel lobby, and threw punches at each other.
As John's punch is restrained by Tom's bodyguard, Tom's bodyguard soon realizes that John is the same person, as he fights him in Deny's building.
“So, is that you?” ask the guard.
“Yes. It's good to see you again. I can't wait to knock out that really dirty tooth of yours.”
John pulled back his hand, twisted his body and threw his precise kick at the guard's ribcage.
As the bodyguard was in pain, John pulled his tie, then slammed it in the floor lobby.
John rushed to the roof of the building, before Tom's other bodyguards sprung up.
“Blue code! Code blue!”
“Everything goes to lobby. Close all exits!”
“A man we're after, wearing a black suit in his 30s!”
The guard took out his HT and contacted all of Tom's bodyguards who were still inside the hotel.
Some of Tom's remaining bodyguards began to chase after John who ran up the stairs, heading to the roof of the building.
Upon John's arrival on the roof of the building, he immediately picked up the rope and rock climbing equipment he had prepared before starting his plan.
John hooked up his makeshift equipment and a rope around his waist, then jumped off the roof of the building.
John escapes from the pursuit of Tom's men and lands safely.
