JOHN THE MERCENARY
CHAPTER 043 - TYPE X PEN.
“And what do I do if I press it?’ ask Agnes.
“Entahlah. Maybe you'll pass out if I don't find you.”
John left there after giving the pen-shaped eavesdropper to Agnes.
Agnes simply smiled at John as she walked away leaving him, then went to a room inside the building to gather with her extended family.
As John was about to get into his car, Jack asked,
“Hey, what did you give to, Madam?”
“Only pen,” Reply John.
“Hey, I'm serious.”
“It's just a pen. Type X Intelligent MC-1308.”
John got in the car.
Jack who knew that it was a wiretap used by the military was silent, and it was unthinkable for him when John would give it to Agnes.
Jack catches up with John, who is already in the car.
“The pen is great for writing and is resistant to all signal interference. Unfortunately, the signal range is very limited.”
John pulled out a radio from his pocket, which he used to listen to something, if Agnes pressed the pen he had given her.
“I hope I don't use this much anymore.”
John puts the radio on the dashboard of the car and stares at Jack who turns his gaze as John looks at him.
John changed his seat and threw himself in the car.
“Hei. Why don't you have some respect for your boss?” jack asks who saw John acting on his own.
“Because I do not respect you,” replied John Ketus.
“Honoring your superiors within the organization is the most basic thing of socialization.”.
“Yes. Whatever you say. I don't have basic ethics.”
John cuts off Jack's words which makes Jack even more upset with him.
Jack keeps asking John which makes John even more fed up as Jack keeps asking.
“I told you I'm a rude man, , I don't have ethics, so, if you ask me why I'm rude, yes that's who I am.”
John straightened his body and looked at Jack.
“Good. You're right,” said Jack who had begun to be lazy to tell John because of his stubborn nature.
“It doesn't matter to you, does it, if I don't have ethics?” ask John.
“As far as you go,” replied Jack.
“Then, stop. Don't talk to me anymore.”
John again changed his seat and laid himself down again.
“Gosh. Can't you stop being rude?”
Jack again asked that which only John ignored.
*TUUU!!!!
Suddenly the radio went off and all the conversations that were in the room could be heard by John. It seemed, Agnes had pressed the pen once.
“Wo. The tool reads,” said a surprised Jack.
John picked up the radio and listened to everything that was being talked about in the room.
All of Agnes's family is talking about sharing the legacy left by the deceased, especially the foundation and the IP Group company currently managed by Agnes, as her heir.
When all the Agnes family is cornered by Agnes and asks her to sell the company, suddenly the radio brought by John dies.
So, John could not hear all his conversations with the end.
“What's up?” ask Jack.
“Isn't this weird you think?”
John begins to get suspicious of the situation in the gathering room.
“Gosh. What are you talking about? Can't you hear? They are all just fighting over the legacy. He deliberately turned off this tool, so we can't hear it,” Jack said.
