JOHN THE MERCENARY

JOHN THE MERCENARY
CHAPTER 039 - NIGHT SHIFT.

“Because of that, all the places in this house can be monitored from this room.”

John who was standing was even walking around in his new study, and looking around what was around him.

John began trying to sit on a soft mattress and look at some of the monitors in the room.

“There is 24 hours surveillance and the recordings are archived automatically every 24 hours.”

The bodyguard became upset that John did not notice his explanation at all.

“Shift night starts at nine o'clock until six o'clock in the morning, until someone comes here to replace you. Plus another hour. So, you can leave at seven in the morning.”

“That's it. Any questions?”

“Ngak,” replied John briefly.

John was sitting on a sofa that looks quite luxurious and comfortable.

“Good..”.

“What did you say? No?” ask the increasingly emotional bodyguard.

“Yes. No,” replied John.

“You speak informal language to me?”

“Yes. Why indeed?” ask John.

The guard was still standing and looking at John who was sitting casually talking to him.

“Basic is impolite.”

The man mumbled softly.

“Hei! You dick! I know how old you are, you're younger than me, why aren't you polite? I'm more senior here than you are, asshole!”

The guard yelled and cursed John.

“Sttt. Oi! I heard you were from the special forces and had been in the military, that's what I heard from Lieutenant,”.

“Yes. That'sthat's true! Why?”

The man snapped at John and took off the still-worn suit and threw him on the chair.

He seemed to be threatening to beat John up, but he was still hesitant to do so.

“I'm in Division 040-151. How about you?” ask John.

The guard immediately shrieked and returned to his seat, hearing John's higher rank than him.

John stood up from the sofa and walked over to the sitting bodyguard and lowered his head on the chair.

“But, aren't we already in the security company now, Senior.”

Finally the bodyguard called John with the senior out of fear that John would also beat him up.

John sat back down on the sofa and let out a long sigh, then told the bodyguard to make him some coffee.

“Make me coffee!”

“Yes, Senior. But, we only have instant coffee,” jawan guards who still sit silent.

“Yes. Make me that.”

“Alright, Senior. Do you like bitter?”

“Yes. Make two,” says John.

“Gosh. I don't like coffee, no need.”

“No. Both for me,” John said.

“Oh, so. Alright.”

The bodyguard rushed to his feet and made a coffee for John.

“Hei! You brought a cigarette? Leave your cigarettes here.”

John asked for the bodyguard's cigarette, before he went to make coffee.

“There is in my suit pocket, the lighter is also.”

“Good. You can go.”

After the clock showed at nine o'clock in the evening, John sat in front of the monitor screen and enjoyed the coffee made by the bodyguards who had already returned home from there.

John raised his leg and placed it on the front desk of the monitor screen.

He felt very bored because his work now requires absolutely no energy.

John's eyes were fixed on the monitor screen which showed Anna coming out of her room.

Anna put on a kimono and walked out of her room. He walked and walked slowly down the stairs to the kitchen.

Anna's steps came to a halt as she stood in front of the CCTV camera.

As John presses the zoom button and zooms in on his monitor screen, Anna stares at the CCTV camera to John's surprise, looking at it from the monitor screen.

“Jeez, you surprised me. Whahuh? What the hell are you doing? What do you want?”
