Chapter 90 Revealing the Truth

Instantly Intan widened his eyes hearing a question from Arion. Nervously, he said, too,

"Why are you asking that, Arion? Of course Mother-"

"Because I want to know the truth" said Arion firmly, and looked at Intan as if intimidating him.

Wanna know? Why so suddenly? No one should have told him about this matter. If it is true, it is very rude of them, Intan said in his heart.

"Mom! Answer!" arion cried impatiently.

Intan gasped at Arion's call, which made him aware of his daydream. He looked at his son, and asked with his voice,

"Who? Who told you this fake news?!"

Arion grinned, he saw there were streaks of fear from within Intan's eyes. He looked into his mother's eyes, to find out the truth.

"Why Ma'am? Why do you seem so nervous?" arion asked with a probing look at him.

"Rumpy? Who is nervous? Mom's not nervous. I'm just shocked to hear this vile slander from someone else to make you hate me" Intan replied with emotion.

"Defamation?" asked Arion while grinning.

Intan nodded his head enthusiastically. He wanted to show that his words were true, and what people told Arion was nothing but slander.

"If it is indeed a slander, then show me the truth, ma'am," Arion said with a stern look at her mother.

"What more truth do I have to tell you, Arion? Mom is your Mom. Until anytime you'll still be your mother!" intan said firmly, as if he did not want to be denied.

Arion breathed. He tried to open his mouth, telling what he heard about his mother. Unfortunately there were no words he could say. He inhaled a deep breath of air, and took it out slowly for several times. After that he steadied his heart to say to Intan, whatever he wanted to ask.

"Who is my real mother?" asked Arion in a stifled voice.

Intan holds both Arion's arms, and stares at Arion's eyes intensely. Then he firmly said,

"I. I'm your real mother Arion. Why don't you trust Mom?"

"Then, why does everyone say that you just settled in this house on the day of Arion's mother's death?" asked Arion in a weak voice, and teary eyes.

Intan widened his eyes. He didn't think that Arion would receive such a detailed news. However, it was not Intan's name if he could not quibble from anything that did not benefit him. He grabbed Arion's two hands, and looked at him with his teary eyes, saying, saying,

Instantly Arion turned to Intan, who he thought was only slowing him down to find out the truth from his father.

What the hell is it? Is this so important that you should go home? fabian asked sounding worried on the phone.

"Hurry home, Mom. Arion wants to ask you something important. He doesn't believe everything I say. He doesn't believe in his mother!" intan exclaimed with emotion, and he sobbed at the end of his speech, thus making Arion feel guilty towards him.

Arion, what's wrong? Why is your mother crying? asked Fabian worriedly.
