It Turns Out They're an Extraordinary Duo

Chapter 12 Introduction

A beautiful woman was standing on the side of the road in front of a private bank. He was busy with his cell phone without looking around.

"Waiting for someone?"

The voice of a man shocked Adelia so much that she turned her attention away from the phone she had been playing.

"Eh Arion, are you going home yet?" adelia asked without first answering the question that Arion had asked her.

"Yes, it's just that I'm going home. Are you waiting for someone?" arion asked Adelia back after answering her question.

Adelia grinned bitterly while keeping her phone in her bag. Then he said,

"I'm waiting for a cab."

"Waiting taxi? Didn't anyone pick you up?" ask Arion back.

Adelia smiled as she shook her head and said,

"I was going to be picked up by my brother, but he was on an impromptu errand, so I was told to get Papa. It turns out that Papa is in a meeting and not finished, I was told to take a taxi with Papa."

Arion looked on with pity at Adelia. He wanted to take the beautiful girl home, but he was not confident in the motorbike he used.

Arion looked at his motor and said in his heart,

Does he want to ride this bike? I doubt he usually gets in a fancy car.

Adelia moved uneasily as if showing that she was tired of standing waiting for the taxi she had booked.

"Is the cab booked?" asked Arion hesitantly.

Adelia picked up her phone from inside her bag, she looked at her phone screen and said,

"So it's been a message, but it turns out the cab just sent a message, he said the tires leaked. Apes is today."

Instantly Adelia looked limp and uninspired. He was bemoaning his stupidity that this morning did not bring his own car as usual.

"Emmm... Would you like to book another taxi?" asked Arion hesitatingly.

"So, I'm still looking for him. Hopefully there are taxis around here" Adelia replied with a sigh.

He was still watching his phone screen, trying to find a taxi he could order.

"I'm surprised, usually taxis on a lot of milling, why at the time when I need even they do not nongol a single one?" nagging Adelia without turning her attention to the screen of her phone.

Arion smiled at the girl his heart was nagging at this moment. What a very rare sight he had never seen, it might as well have never been seen by anyone else in the office.

"Do you want me to drive you home? To be honest, I can't bear to leave you alone in this place" Arion asked with a slight hesitation.

Adelia instantly distracts her from the screen of her phone. He looked at Arion with his fluffy smile. Then he said,

"Did you mind taking me home?"

"It's an honor for me to bring home a beautiful girl" Arion replied with a sweet smile at Adelia.

Adelia chuckled at Arion's reply. Then he said,

"Well, I'll give you a chance to drive me home."

Arion restarted the engine. After that, he allowed Adelia to ride on the bonnet of his motorcycle.

Adelia still wears her uniform with her short skirt, she sits sideways and holds her right hand on Arion's shoulder, while her left hand holds on to the end of the seat.

Maybe now you are holding on to my shoulder, but later, one day you will hug my waist when in the same state as it is today.

Suddenly there is a car horn that stops the Arion motor when it will be launched. Arion and Adelia turned to look at the car beside her.

"Lia, why are you boning with her?" ask a man who is well-dressed and in color with Adelia.

"I want to go home with him, Dion. Why?" adelia asked the driver of the car.

"Aren't you going to be picked up by your girlfriend who delivered this morning?" ask the man who was called Dion by Adelia.

"He's got an impromptu assignment, so can't pick him up. No taxi can be ordered. Yes already, I want to go home first, tired, sultry too," replied Adelia who seemed annoyed by what she was experiencing at this time.

"Lia, why not just be with me? Can you ride a bike like that? Let me take you home, " said Dion who seemed to be forcing Adelia to come home with him.

Adelia glanced at Arion who looked disappointed to hear Dion's words. He can see Arion's sad face from the rearview mirror of the motor that leads to him.

"Other times it was Dion. I've already agreed to Arion's call. I go first, yes" Adelia said with a sweet smile at Dion.

"Come on Arion," Adelia orders while patting Arion on the shoulder.

Arion nodded his head at Dion to say goodbye and said,

"Let's go, we go first."

Dion stared in annoyance at the back of Arion who was piggybacking on Adelia, the girl he had feared for a long time.

Not that Adelia refused Dion's offer, actually she wanted to go home with Dion because it was more comfortable to ride in a car with her current skirt appearance.

However, he did not have the heart of Arion who looked sad as if he felt insulted because the motor he used today was not comparable to the car driven by Dion.

That night Arion drove his bike with a carefree heart. The motorbike splits the night road with a breeze hitting Adelia's pretty face and making Adelia's long hair flutter as if she was pampering her hair.

"Stop here alone Arion," ordered Adelia while patting Arion's shoulder like a passenger stopping a motorcycle taxi driver.

The Arion motor stopped. Then he asked,

"Where's your house? Is it here?"

Indeed, Adelia only gave the name of her housing to Arion. He did not give her the block and her house number.

Adelia pointed at a large mansion in front of her, saying,

"This is my house. Thank you for taking me home. I'm sorry I can't take you to stop by right now. Next time, yes."

After saying that to Arion, Adelia waved her hand and hurriedly walked into the fence of her house.

Arion just looked disappointed at the back of Adelia who was now entering the house. A very much larger and luxurious home compared to his home.

"Did I embarrass him so much that I didn't invite him into his house?" arion asked as he looked at the luxurious mansion that was in front of him.

"It may be true that he was embarrassed to introduce me to his parents" said Arion Lirih accompanied by a sigh of disappointment.

He stared at the annual matic motorcycle. Then he smiled and said,

"Should I replace you with a new one?"

Arion smiles laughing at her fate that is not as lucky as Adelia's friends in the office. Suddenly he remembered his mother's words. He smiled and said,

"Said Mom, I have to fight for it, because I am not inferior to them either. All right, tomorrow I'm going to do my plan to get Adelia's heart. Just look at it later. I can definitely get his heart."
