Chapter 80 Foreboding

"Lia! Adelia! Baby, wake!" exclaimed Adelio while gently rubbing Adelia's cheek.

Unfortunately Adelia still remains delirious, making Adelio again exclaim and try to wake her up.

"Princess! Wake up!"

Adelio's call this time managed to make Adelia aware. His eyes opened wide at the sound of Adelio calling out to him.

"Sister Lio," said Adelia, twitching her eyes, so that her lashes moved up and down.

"What's wrong with you, honey?" adelio asked as she tidied up Adelia's messy haircut covering her face.

"Lia, it seems like Lia's a nightmare, sister," Adelia replied softly with teary eyes.

Adelio grabbed his sister's body and carried her in his arms. He slowly rubbed Adelia's back, saying,

"Quiet, Honey. Brother is here with you."

Adelia returned Adelio's embrace. Her hands tightly hugged her brother's body, as if unwilling to leave.

"Lia's scared, sister. Lia was so scared. It was Lia-"

Adelia could not continue her words. His sobbing made the words he was about to say, instantly unable to come out.

"Quiet, Honey. Brother Lio will always take care of you. You don't have to worry" Adelio said, gently rubbing a tear on Adelia's cheek.

Adelia nodded her head in response to her brother's words. However, her hands still hugged her brother's body. Even now, he was hugging her even more.

"Darling, it's night. You sleep yes" said Adelio while looking into Adelia's eyes.

Adelia shook her head, and she increasingly tightly hugged her brother's body.

"Sister Lio can't go. Sister here just accompany Lia," said Adelia while hugging her brother's body tightly.

"Sister won't go. Brother will accompany you here, but you have to sleep," Adelio said as he laid his body and sister together on the bed.

Right in the middle of the night, Adelio awoke from his sleep. He tried to release Adelia's hand very slowly and carefully. She left the room after confirming Adelia had fallen asleep.

Inside his room, Adelio devises a plan to keep Adelia from Arion. He thought of some alternatives to protect her.

"I have to ask Kevin for help to replace me looking after Adelia, when I can't take care of her" Adelio said as he lay on his bed.

He closed his eyes and fell into the silence of the night, hoping that tomorrow would be fine.

A few days have passed since that night. Arion tries to obey Adelia's will. He just looked at it, without approaching it as usual. As they cross paths, Arion greets her and Adelia replies with her bitter smile.

Arion was holding back really his emotions. Honestly, at that moment she wanted to carry Adelia in her arms. But, he can't do it. He still remembered the advice of his father, when only they spoke alone, without the presence of Intan among them.

I can't be emotional. I should be able to hold it. I hope my patience will not be in vain. I should be able to show her, if I can be as she wants, Arion said in her heart, while looking at Adelia who was walking towards her.

Tumben he's behaving like that? Is he conscious? But I saw something in his eyes. I'm sure if he still wants me. It seems that I should be on my guard, as commanded by Brother Lio, Adelia said in her heart, while passing from Arion's sight.

Adelia did not answer Mia's question. He simply nodded his head as it passed, to respond to her.

"What exactly is your relationship? Why did he do that that that night? Has he been trying to chase you around trying to bother you?" mia asked with curiosity.

Adelia stopped her steps. Mia stopped her steps immediately. Adelia faced towards Mia and said,

"You better save that curiosity now. Later in time, you'll know the truth."

After saying that, Adelia passed away leaving behind Mia who was still standing in her place. The girl who was Adelia's best friend stood still hearing Adelia's answer.

"Lia, when is that time?" mia asked as she ran after Adelia.

"Later, if it's time," Adelia replied as she walked towards her room.

"Isss for free I'm asking you. The edges always remain secret. Adelia's base is a mysterious pretentious," Mia scolds in a deliberately raised voice, in order for Adelia to hear it.

Adelia smiled at Mia's nagging aimed at her. Without looking back, Adelia said,

"Basar Mia the braggart."

Mia gawks at Adelia's words addressed to her, because Adelia has never done anything like that to her.

"Huh?! Is he talking to me?"

Adelia still heard Mia's words whose voice could clearly enter the senses of her listeners. He just chuckled and said softly,

"Prophe Mia, later if you really become my sister-in-law, I will definitely tell you."

Eventually Mia returns to her desk, not knowing what the real connection is between Arion and Adelia. He tried to guess, but still he could not let his mind believe that.

While in the room, Adelia smiled sweetly when getting a message from her prospective fiance. Kenzo said he would replace Adelio to pick him up.

Just by reading a message from Kenzo alone makes Adelia's heart feel flowery. He even felt very excited to do his job. Many times he saw the circular watch in his left hand, hoping that time would pass, so that he could quickly meet his future fiancee, Kenzo.

Moments later, Mia's lips curled upwards. There was even a red tinge that now adorned his face. In his heart he said,

Suddenly there was the sound of the roar of a car stopping right in front of them. Come out a handsome young man wearing a suit that fits perfectly on his body.

"Honey, sorry for the long wait" said the handsome young man as he extended his hand to Adelia.

Adelia received the helping hand and walked towards the car with her. Kenzo, his future fiancee, opened the door for him, saying,

"Please come in, honey."
