Chapter 17 A Chance

Adelia gasped at Arion's statement. To be honest, she never thought that Arion would tell her feelings tonight.

He misbehaves and walks away from Arion. Unfortunately Arion's hand held Adelia's hand to hold her back so she wouldn't leave the place.

From a distance not far away, there were pairs of eyes were watching them. Even that person was acting like a stalker at the moment. He moves to Adelia and Arion when Arion holds Adelia's hand to stop her departure, but she stops him when she hears Arion say something to Adelia.

"Ra, please listen to me for a moment. I beg you," said Arion who sounded compassionate to her.

Adelia stopped her steps. He removed Arion's hand from his hand and turned his body.

Adelia just kept quiet without saying a word. His tongue felt faint and could not say anything at this moment. He only prepared his heart at this moment to listen to the expression of feelings that Arion had on him.

Arion grabs Adelia's hands and holds them. He stared intensely at Adelia's bead eyes as he said,

Adelia sighed. He looked disappointedly at Arion and said,

Arion felt so guilty saying all that to Adelia. He again grabbed Adelia's two hands and held them tightly so that Adelia could not let go.

"sorry. I'm really sorry. It seems like I have been blinded by love, so I acted like this. You are good Adelia. You are always friendly and never discriminate anyone. You never demeaned my profession either. But I'm ashamed, I don't trust myself in front of you with my profession right now. Moreover, your twin brother is a great cop. "A chance? How's it?" tanya Adelia accompanied her grin.

Arion. He thought of something to answer Adelia's question. After a few seconds he answered.

"Give me a month to be your lover. I will prove my true love for you."

Arion grabbed Adelia's body and carried her in his arms saying,

"thank you. Thank you Adelia. Thank you dear. Thank you for this opportunity. I promise you, I'll make you understand how much I love you."

Adelia. He doesn't think he's agreed to Arion's request of her. He just kept quiet. He did not return Arion's embrace or tell her his current feelings for her.

Adelio, the one who had been watching and following them, was now being overwhelmed by anger. His hands were clenched and his eyes were staring in anger at Arion. It was very desirable for him to come up to her and teach her a lesson by beating her up because he had dared to touch Adelia, his twin sister whom he had to protect.

Adelia got down from Arion's motorbike and said,

Arion smiled and nodded his head in response to Adelia's thanks.

After that Adelia immediately turned her body and walked quickly with half a run into her house.

"It seems I haven't meant much to him yet" Arion said, looking at Adelia's back, which disappeared behind a fence.

After that he saw the big house. She smiled bitterly as Adelia did not allow her to stop by her house and introduce her to Adelia's parents.

After Arion left the front of the house, Adelio entered his house. He saw everything and there was a bit of disbelief in Arion. Not because of his job or their different economic life, he just felt uncomfortable and hesitant to get close to Arion.
