Chapter 62 Misunderstanding

"Stop chasing after Adelia and stop bothering her. Respect his decision. If I knew you were still bothering him, I'd make sure you accept the consequences" Adelio said with a grin warning Arion who was staring at him.

Arion's eyes showed everything. His hatred for Adelio was evident from his eyes. Adelio just grinned at seeing it. He knew if there was any hatred visible from Arion's eyes at the moment.

However, he only saw it, without trying to calm or warn him back. For Adelio, his warning to Arion earlier, happened next for him.

Without saying anything, Adelio leaves behind Arion who still looks upset and emotional to her. He walked casually to his car. Adelia got into Kenzo's car and was ready to leave.

Arion is about to step foot to catch up to Adelia, but Mia moves quickly to stop him. He confronted Arion, saying, He,

"You better not go after him. Respect his privacy."

Arion breathed. He looked at Mia with a dislike look and said,

"Get aside, I have nothing to do with you!"

Mia still did not move from her current place. He bravely confronted Arion whose body was bigger than his.

Feeling hindered and disturbed by Mia, Arion immediately removes Mia's body so that Mia's small body can be easily removed by Arion.

Mia's small body, was not strong enough to withstand Arion's sudden attack, so her body staggered and it was certain that she would fall on the ground.

However, there was a hand holding Mia's body from falling to the ground. That burly hand restrained his body to save him from falling over.

Mia's eyes were closed, opened again, because she felt her body floating and did not feel pain, like she was falling.

"You?!" chirped Mia who was shocked when she saw the face of a young man as her eyes opened.

The young man helped Mia stand up straight and said,

"Get in the car. I'll take you home."

After saying that to Mia, the young man looked at Arion with a stern look and said,

"It's so rough on women! This is why I can't trust you!"

The voice of the young man was very firm and authoritative, thus making Arion gasp and stop his movements.

"Lio! Let's get out of here!" yelled Kenzo from his car.

Without saying anything, Adelio pulls Mia's hand and takes her inside her car. Mia was just flabbergasted and obeyed. He was sitting in the seat next to the driver which meant he was sitting next to Kenzo.

The girl who was a friend of Adelia, now look pity on Adelio. His adoring gaze, now changed to pity, considering that Adelia is currently with Kenzo.

What's more, Adelio's face looked very upset at the moment. It didn't go unnoticed by Mia. The girl sighed and asked,

"Adelia's been betrothed, huh?"

Adelio turned to Mia, and she casually replied,

"Yes, right. Why?"

Mia took her breath back. He stared intensely at Adelio's eyes and said,

Adelio scrunched her forehead hearing Mia's words which she thought were misunderstanding her. He held back his smile and said in his heart,

So she thought that Adelia and I were having a relationship, but Adelia was being betrothed to Kenzo. Funny this girl too. He also dares to stop Arion from chasing after Adelia. Ah, right too. I just remembered that everyone thought Adelia and I were dating.

Adelio smiled faintly looking at Mia's face which implied her worry. In his heart he said again,

This girl is funny too. Surely her reaction would be even funnier, if I kept pretending to be Adelia's boyfriend.

"Why are you talking like that?" adelio asked as she looked at Mia question markingly.

"Why don't you understand that yet? Adelia and that man, we're definitely getting married. So, you better give up. Stay away from Adelia now, or you will feel even more heartache" Mia replied accompanied by a sigh.

Adelio tried hard to hold back her laughter. As powerful as he was, he neutralized his face and held back his laughter from escaping at this moment. He looked closely at the girl before him and said in his heart,

What an interesting girl. Looks like my frustration with Arion will be gone by now.

"Unfortunately I can't get far from Adelia" Adelio said with a faint smile at Mia.

"Ck! There are many women on this earth. It's not just Adelia. If you don't want heartache, you should be able to move on from him, but if you want to feel heartache continuously, please just be near him. I guarantee, you will continue to be hurt and frustrated at that time," Mia said regretfully.

Again Adelio held back his laughter hearing the words of Mia. However, there is a horn sound from Kenzo's car that makes Adelio say the girl's words.

The horn addressed by Kenzo on Adelio, indicates that Kenzo's car has moved away from the place. Not only that, the horn intends to invite Adelio to drive his car as soon as possible, because Arion is walking toward Kenzo's car in which there is Adelia.

Adelio immediately drove his car following Kenzo's car at medium speed behind him. Mia was still looking at Adelio with a look on her face. This can be felt by Adelio.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Are you still waiting for my answer?" ask Adelio while driving her car.

"Who is staring at you? You're overconfident, sir," Mia replied regretfully.

"Not to be tickled. I can see it," Adelio said with a grin and focus on the street in front of him.

"Who said I was staring at you? My eyes are like this, sometimes like to look the other way," said Mia who sounded sewot at this time.

"You're squint?" adelio asked while holding back her laughter.

"Yes. I'm squint. Satisfied? Is there a problem with you if I cross?" mia asked in regret.

I heard laughter from Adelio. He could no longer hold back his laughter. The girl who had the status of a best friend of her twin brother, made her very entertained at this time.

Mia looked annoyed at Adelio. The laughter of the handsome young man, made him even more annoyed. His gaze was unsheathed, hinting at his excessive annoyance at the handsome young man.

"If I stay away from Adelia, who is the woman I can approach?" adelio asked when the laughter had subsided.

"much. You're the one who's insensitive. There are a lot of women around you who like you. It's just that you don't want to see them" Mia replied while looking seriously at Adelio.

Adelio's forehead frowned at Mia's reply. His eyes were still focused on the street before him and said,
