Chapter 15 Humiliation

"Well?!" chirp Adelia after hearing a question from Arion.

"Eh, it's nothing. Want to have lunch?" ask Arion to switch their conversation.

Adelia nodded her head. He was still staring in astonishment at Arion at this moment. This girl knew and heard what Arion said.

However, he did not ask her back to Arion. He was just figuring out for himself what exactly Arion's question meant.

"Yes. It's lunch time" replied Adelia who was still looking for answers from Arion's current face and attitude.

Arion looks wrongly stared at like that by Adelia. He felt that Adelia's gaze on him was full of question marks.

Unfortunately their conversation was interrupted by the sound of a horn distracting them. At that very instant, the two turned their heads towards the source of the voice.

A man wearing a full-face helmet, leather jacket and jeans sat on a black sport bike waving his hand at Adelia.

With a carefree smile Adelia returned the wave of the man's hand. He was very familiar with the man on the bike, even though his entire face was covered by the helmet he was wearing.

The man took off his helmet. He smiled sweetly at Adelia who was a few meters away from him.

Adelia ran towards the man without saying anything to Arion. He had forgotten everything when he met this man, the man he had always been with.

"Hi My Princess, dear" said the man with a sweet smile welcoming Adelia's arrival.

"Where are we going to have lunch, brother?" adelia asked with a big smile showing her row of teeth to her twin sister.

Adelio chuckled when she saw her twin sister had changed her skirt uniform with the pants she was wearing when she left earlier. Then he said,

"As far as you. Doesn't this include punishment for me for not picking you up the other day?"

Adelia smiled broadly at the question from her brother. He felt like he was taking advantage of the situation. It's true that it always happens when Adelio makes a mistake and apologizes accompanied by a promise that will do anything in Adelia's favor.

The girl who is the twin brother of Adelio was riding in the rear bonnet of Adelio. She held tightly to her brother's waist despite not being asked by him.

Arion just stared sadly at the two twin brothers who looked very close and happy. Even he felt jealous of their closeness that looked like a pair of lovers. And there is an envy that accompanies it when you see Fastan, Adelio's favorite sport bike.

Suddenly there was the voice of a man who shocked Arion. He turned his head towards the side, where a neat-looking man was standing beside him.

"Do you still dare to compare yourself to the man who picked Adelia up earlier?" the man asked back to Arion who was looking at him while frowning his forehead.

The man who looks neat is still using his name tag named Dion, so that ordinary people also know if he is an employee of the bank with the name listed on the name tag.

"Even your motorbike is not comparable to the motor," reconnect the man named Dion while looking at the Arion motor as if humbling it.

"And what makes your differences stand out is that he's a cop and you're a security man" Dion chuckled at Arion.

"Do you know who Dion really is?"

"He's a cop. I know it. I met him when he was in uniform. Wh why? Do you doubt me? I even asked my friend who was a cop. The man is really a cop and has amazing feats" Dion replied with his rent.

Arion smiles bitterly at the reality that makes him even more different from Adelia's twin sister. In his heart he said,

Would I be able to get Adelia's heart if I was nothing compared to her twin sister? Even our family background is different. Is it possible that Adelia's family can bless our relationship later if we date? I doubt. It looks like it's going to be very difficult.

"It seems like you understand now," Dion said with a chuckle.

After saying that, Dion left Arion who was still standing with a feeling of heartache. He felt very humiliated by all that Dion had said to him.

It feels like he said that he can definitely get Adelia's heart and make the girl his girlfriend. But he realized that he would not be able to be in line with the Adelia family.

Arion sighed to see his motor that never lit even though he had tried to fix it.

"It looks like I should take him to the workshop now," Arion grumbled as he cleaned his hands.

Arion asked his friend for permission to take his motorcycle to a workshop not far from where he worked. He left for the workshop on foot after getting permission from his friend.

His lunch hour was used to take his motorbike to the workshop. Many times he sighed as if showing the anxiety he had in his heart.

Just then, next to the workshop there was a motor sport that made Arion's attention to him. In his heart he said,

Did I trade my bike for a sports bike like that?

"Mas, it looks like the bike has a lot to replace its parts. Why not just sell it anyway Mas, replace the new one?" ask the mechanic who's servicing Arion's bike.

"It looks like I have to sell him and trade him for another bike" Arion said.

"Are you interested in changing? Just go next door. Coincidentally the one who had the showroom was my brother. You can exchange the motorcycle with others. Guaranteed cheap deh Mas price compared to other places," said the mechanic to Arion who looks tempted by his offer.

Arion moved from his seat. He walked to the used motorcycle showroom right next to the workshop. He wondered at the owner of the showroom and made an offer by exchanging his motorcycle.

After a long talk, Arion finally managed to buy a used sports bike that stole his attention since earlier when he was in the workshop on credit. Even he did not care about the amount of installments he paid for each month. The one in his head just wants the bike at all costs.

Arion's smile never faded when he brought the bike back to work. With confidence, he took the motorcycle as if he was showing it off when many bank employees returned to the office after lunch.

"Woi... Borrow where the bike is?" dion exclaimed while chuckling as if humbling Arion.

Arion did not answer. He was ashamed to serve Dion in front of passers-by after returning home from their lunch.

Just then Adelia just got off the Adelio bike. They both looked towards Arion who was proudly sitting on his bike. Adelio grinned inside his full face helmet. Adelia said in her heart,

I think I know what the question means. Is this all because of me?
