The ringing of the phone that came from Arion's phone, made Arion turn off the motor again. He immediately picked up his phone, hoping it would be from the person he had been in contact with many times.
He sighed when he saw the name on his phone screen was not the person he expected. But he still received the phone call.
"Hello, what's wrong?" ask Arion lazily.
I have news for you. You must be very surprised. Just as I was shocked when I heard it, replied someone from across the street.
"What's? Say, I don't have much time" Arion said with a slight annoyance.
It's about your mother, the person said without making small talk.
"Mother? What's wrong with my mom?" ask Arion curiously.
I can't say on the phone. We'd better meet now. I'm waiting for you at your usual place.
After saying that, the person immediately hung up the phone.
Arion sighed, looking at the screen of his phone which showed that the call had ended. Now, he had to come to the designated place to meet his friend.
"I'll be there to see him for a while. After that, I'm going to go to that place to find Adelia" Arion said as he turned on the engine.
The motor was actually propelled by Arion at high speed. His mind was on Adelia and her friend. The motor was speeding towards the place determined by his friend.
Just a few moments Arion's motorbike had arrived at that place. A cafe that used to be a gathering place Arion with other young people in his village.
"Ario!" greet a young man who was waving his hand at him.
Arion ran small, hastily approaching the young man. His forehead frowned as he sat in front of the young man, and asked,
"Dimas, where are the others?"
"I'm just alone. Aren't we gonna talk about your mother? So, it is very unlikely that I would invite others to come here" Dimas replied with a smile on his face.
Immediately Arion remembered his goal of meeting the current Dimas. He moved his body, closer to Dimas.
"What's wrong with my mom?" asked Arion curiously.
Dimas stared intensely at Arion's bead eyes, and said,
"I heard from the mothers who were talking about your mother. They said if your mother--"
"Why? They must have been gossiping about my mother again. Isn't that common, because they envy my mother?" sahut Arion sighed.
Dimas shook his head in response to Arion's words. Then he said,
"They told me your mother wasn't your real mother."
Instantly Arion widened his eyes to hear the news that he had never expected at all.
"What's? Not my real mother?" arion asked as if he could not believe his hearing.
"Yes. They said so, "" Dimas replied as he nodded his head.
Arion chuckled at Dimas' reply. Then he said,
"If she's not my mother, then where's my real mother?"
"Your biological mother is dead. They say that the possibility of your birth mother's death has something to do with your current mother" Dimas replied without hesitation.
Arion's laughter stopped. He looked at Dimas as if he was trying to figure out the lie from his friend's eyes and face. Unfortunately he only got the truth, there were no lies there.
"What do you mean?" arion asked with a trembling voice.
Arion was silent for a moment. It was obvious that he was thinking at the moment. Then he got up from his seat, and said,
"Take me to meet them. I want to know the truth."
"Wait on! Wouldn't it be better to ask your father?" asked Dimas while standing up from his seat.
"Are you sure my father would tell me the truth? You know for yourself, if my father is very obedient and loves my mother very much" replied Arion with a grin.
Dimas realized instantly that what Arion said was true. He sighed, and said,
"real said. There's gotta be something your dad's gonna cover up for."
"Come, go," said Arion as he walked out of the cafe.
Dimas followed Arion walking out of the cafe. They ride each other's motorcycles. The two bikes go hand in hand all the way to their home in one village.
"Mom! Mama! Come here for a minute!" yelled Dimas calling his mother from the living room.
"What's the Dim?!" sarofah shouted, Dimas' mother from the kitchen.
"Come here for a minute, Mom! Someone wants to meet Mom!" exclaimed Dimas as he walked towards the kitchen.
Suddenly Ms. Sarofah was surprised, when her hand that was washing dishes was pulled by someone. He walked and said, too,
"Dimas! What the fuck are you? I'm still doing the dishes, you're playing pull."
"Later on wash the dishes, ma'am. There are people who want to meet Mom. It's important, it can't be delayed" Dimas said as he walked as he pulled his mother's hand into the living room.
Mom Sarofah's forehead frowned. He tried to guess, but not a single name flashed through his mind.
"Want to meet Mom? Of importance? Who?" ask Ms. Sarofah to be curious.
Dimas stopped his steps right in front of Arion who was sitting in the living room chair. He held both of his mother's shoulders, and said,
"This is the man who wants to meet with Mom."
"Arion?!" chirped Miss Sarofah by showing her confused face.
Arion stood up and extended his hand to Bu Sarofah, smiling at her, and said,
"Yes, Mom. I'm Arion. How's Mom doing?"
"good. Yes like this, you can see for yourself," Ms. Sarofah replied awkwardly and smiled forcefully.
Ms. Sarofah is really confused at the moment. Because he wondered in his heart, what reason made Arion want to meet him and say that it was very important.
"Sit down first, Mom," Dimas said as he led his mother to sit in the chair in front of Arion.
Ms. Sarofah also said. He sat down on the chair and looked astonished at Arion who was looking at him as if he wanted to ask him a lot of things.
"What's up, Arion? Usually if you play here shrill Dimas. Tumben-tumbenan now nyariin mom?" ask Ms. Sarofah to be curious.
"I came here on purpose because I wanted to ask Mom something. I hope Ms. Sarofah will answer honestly, "Arion replied seriously.
"What's that?" asked Ms. Sarofah back while frowning her forehead.
Arion took a deep breath and took it out slowly, to prepare his heart to hear the reply from Ms. Sarofah. Honestly in his heart he wanted an answer from Ms. Sarofah, that her mother who is now not the cause of her mother's death.
Looking at Arion like that, Dimas understood very well the feelings of his friend. He also asked the mother.
"Mom, is Ms Intan not Arion's mother?"
