Chapter 63 Misconceived

Momentarily, Mia widened her eyes. He was misbehaving and facing the other direction, as if he was enjoying the view outside, from the window of his car.

Adelio glanced at him a little. He chuckled at Mia's misbehavior and did not answer her question. Then he asked,

"Why not answer? Is it true, if you like me?"

"Who said? You're overconfident, sir," Mia replied nervously, without turning her head towards Adelio.

"really? Why are you looking at the window? Why don't you look at me when you talk to me?" ask Adelio while driving her car.

Feeling challenged, Mia also faced towards Adelio. He looked resentfully at the handsome young man and said,

"I'm enjoying the view around."

"Isn't it better to enjoy my good looks?" ask Adelio while chuckling.

"Handsome? Handsome from where? Very confident anyway," replied Mia with her rent.

"Must be confident. Because I'm with a very cute sweet girl right now" Adelio said, chuckling.

"Why silence? You must be fascinated by me" asked Adelio again.

"Curtain! Overconfident. Who is fascinated? I told you from earlier, if my eyes squint. So, don't ever think that if I see you, let alone be fascinated by you," Mia replied as she turned her face away, she looked back out the window.

Adelio again chuckled at the words from Mia. She was really amused by what Mia said. In his heart he said,

Mia's face was red. He again felt ashamed to hear the words of Adelio who praised him. At once he was misbehaving and did not know what to do. He leaned against the back of the chair and closed his eyes very tightly, to pretend to be asleep.

Suddenly the car driven by Adelio stopped. She opened her eyes and asked Adelio,

"Have you arrived?"

"Have arrived at the restaurant" Adelio replied as he removed his seatbelt.

Mia turned to Adelio and scrunched her forehead, saying,

"Restaurant? Why are we stopping at the restaurant?"

"Yes to eat" replied Adelio lightly.

"eat? Didn't you say you were gonna take me home?" mia asked as she looked at Adelio with a question mark filled look.

Adelio turned towards Mia. She smiled sweetly and said,

"Where do I know your address from? You haven't given me your home address yet."

"Oh yes, yes. I forgot," Mia said with a big smile, revealing a row of her teeth.

"Let's go down, we eat first" said Adelio as he opened his car door.

Seeing Adelio who had gotten out of the car, Mia immediately got out of the car. He walked quickly, trying to align his steps with Adelio's, saying,

"Eh but, why eat first? You can just take me home, now."

Adelio just grinned, without answering the question that Mia had asked her. He just kept walking into the restaurant. Mia was forced to follow him into the restaurant.

"Aadelia?!"

Adelia turned her head when she heard her name being called by a familiar voice in her sense of hearing.

"Hi Mia!" adelia cried while waving her hand and smiling at her best friend.

Mia, who was standing not far from Adelia's place, was still staring and her eyes were on Adelia. While Adelia who saw her best friend standing, she immediately got up from her seat and walked up to him.

"Mia, let's sit in my place" said Adelia as she pulled Mia's hand.

Mia also complied. He followed Adelia to sit in a chair that was nearby. Adelio sat in a chair near Kenzo. Now their position is like a couple who are dating together. Adelia sat opposite Kenzo, while Adelio sat opposite Mia.

Mia looked in wonder at Adelio, Adelia and Kenzo. He thinks the three of them are doing things that are not deacons. He looked at the three of them in turn and said in his heart,

Adelia smiled seeing the two of them staring at each other. He blinked one eye while smiling at Adelio as his twin sister looked at him.

Kenzo also smiled to see Mia who seemed trapped in the twin duo's game. He just watched without commenting.

"Mia, introduce. This is Kenzo, he's the one I'm betrothed to" Adelia said, pointing at Kenzo.

Kenzo extended his hand while mentioning his name. Similarly to Mia, she mentioned her name when shaking hands with Kenzo.

"While this handsome man in front of you is my sister" Adelia said with a smile and pointed at Adelio.

"Sister?" chirps Mia while staring confusedly at Adelia and Adelio.

Adelia held back her laughter looking at Mia's current expression. He nodded his head in response to the question from his best friend.

So he considered her his sister. Poor her, Mia said in her heart, while looking at Adelio.

"Adelio," said Adelio as he extended his hand before Mia.

Suddenly Mia's eyes widened to hear the name that came out of the mouth of the handsome young man. He pointed at Adelio and Adelia in turn, saying,

"What's? The adelio? Adelia?"
