Chapter 18 Trials

Adelio's voice surprised Adelia who was daydreaming at this time. He looked towards the source of the voice that his twin brother was standing behind him.

Adelia sighed in response to the throttling from Adelio. Then he said,

"Still trial brother...."

Adelio laughed at the reply of her twin brother. He walked up to her and pinched her gale of nose saying,

"Trials... I think I'll buy something."

Adelia let go of her brother's hand which was on her nose. He chipped in annoyance and said,

"Ck! It's all because of...."

Adelio scrunched his forehead hearing Adelia's words hanging in the air.

"For pity?" adelio asked with a bitter smile at her twin brother.

Adelia sighed, then she nodded her head slowly.

Adelio placed both hands on Adelia's shoulders and said,

"Without you talking, my brother knows. In the allotted time, you better take care of yourself. You understand what that means, right?"

Adelia's eyes popped. She is shocked to hear her brother knowing about Arion's request to her.

"Do you know where?" adelia asked unconsciously to Adelio.

Adelio smiled and ruffled the hair of his twin brother as he said,

"You forgot who Brother is? Your twin brother must know where you are."

Adelia sighed. He looked at his twin brother with a guilty look and said,

"Then what should I do?"

"I can't answer. Just follow your heart. I can only remind you. You have to be careful with her, even if she's already your girlfriend. Even if you already love her, you must remain vigilant" Adelio said with a serious look at Adelia.

"Why indeed, Brother? What was? Is he a suspicious person?" ask Adelia to investigate.

Adelio sighed. She looked at her twin sister while smiling so that Adelia would not worry. Then he said,

"I'm just uncomfortable. I feel like something's gonna happen later."

"Sister... How's dong? Did I miss my answer earlier?" adelia asked by showing her puppy eyes.

Adelio chuckled at Adelia's question, let alone seeing her current facial expression. His hand again grabbed Adelia's hair and ruffled her hair furiously as he said,

Adelia sighed. He looked at his fingers playing at the edge of his shirt. Then he said,

Adelio tidied up her sister's hair tenderly and said,

Adelia nodded her head. Then he smiled widely and said,

"I'm sure Big Brother won't let go of Lia. Brother will definitely monitor Lia."

Adelia smiled broadly at the rows of her teeth without answering any questions from her twin sister.

Adelio chuckled as she ruffled Adelia's hair, then she walked out of the room without saying a word.

The bond between the two is very strong. Especially Adelio, she took over the role of her parents to become the protector of her twin brother.

After the night passed, the morning greeted Adelia who was distraught about her feelings.

Adelia looked at her reflection in the mirror before her. It was clearly her heart breaking at this moment. He breathed and said,

"Wait to see Arion how will you? Is he going to behave like yesterday in front of everyone?"

"Why am I like this? I never felt like this even though I was in an exam. Is it possible that Kak Lio was right?"

Those questions just popped into Adelia's mind. Adelio, his twin brother. There was a sense of unease in him at this moment.

However, he was certain that if Adelio, his twin brother, would definitely protect him. He sighed and looked at the mirror with a smile and said,

Adelia got up from her seat and tidied up her clothes in front of the mirror. He took a deep breath and took it out slowly. Then he nodded his head as if he was preparing to start his day.

Today Adelia left to work alone, without Adelio delivering or following her. Her twin brother usually follows her in the back of Adelia's vehicle without her knowledge.

However, today Adelio departed first because of his important duty. Therefore, Adelia was a little sad without meeting her twin brother first before leaving for work.

After a while he drove his car, Adelia's car was parked in the parking lot of his office. He stared at the office building with his breath and hesitancy to walk in.

Suddenly Adelia's eyes widened when she saw someone standing next to her car door and smiling at her as her hands opened Adelia's car door.

That smile made Adelia remember the morning that made them first speak. Arion, he's the man who's opening Adelia's car door, as if he's treating her like a man to his partner.

Adelia gets out of her car and imposes her smile on Arion, the man who last night had already expressed love for her.

"Dear, dear" said Arion while smiling sweetly and looking very happy at the moment.

"Sat... Don't call me like that" Adelia said as she pressed her index finger against her own lips.

Arion scrunched his forehead. Her smile instantly dissipated when she saw Adelia's serious face at this moment.

"Why? Are you ashamed of me?" ask Arion who is also no less serious with Adelia.

Adelia sighed. Then he said,

"It's not. It's office. We better not make a rumor here. You know for yourself, how horrible is an employee's mouth if there's gossip about employees in this office?"

Arion thought for a moment. He thought that what Adelia said was true. But his selfishness arises. She is eager to boast about her relationship with everyone who has admired and wanted Adelia as their partner, especially Dion.

However, he did not want Adelia to be angry at him. Moreover, he recalled about their conversation last night. Adelia is disappointed at Arion's changed attitude due to her selfishness and sense of irishness. Therefore Arion relented for the time being.

All right, for now I'll keep our relationship a secret. But after this, I will let everyone know about our relationship. I will make them stop humbling me and say I am not worthy of you, Arion said in his heart.

Arion smiled and nodded his head to agree to Adelia's request. She walked beside Adelia and did not stop smiling as she looked at her heart.

Adelia was uncomfortable with Arion's attitude. It was only this time that Adelia was in a relationship with a man. But Adelio's words made him think again and be careful in accordance with what Adelio ordered him.
