
The prophet Joseph dreamed of seeing 11 stars, and the sun and moon bowed to him. The dream of the Prophet Yusuf AS is expressed in verse 4. Explicitly, this verse tells the story of Joseph the teenager telling his father (Prophet Ya’qub as) that he had a strange dream. In his dream he witnessed eleven stars as well as the sun and moon prostrate to him.
Joseph's strange dream led his father to believe that Joseph would become important and powerful. Also there was hope in the heart of the father that it was Joseph who would carry on the prophecy (widow) handed down by their ancestors, Prophet Ishaq as and Prophet Ibrahim as.
This main event gave birth to the event of escorts in the form of jealousy and felt unfairly treated in terms of affection embedded in the hearts of the brothers Joseph as (verse 8).

The travelers were delighted to find the Prophet Joseph. The pleasure is due to the prediction of economic benefits that they will get. The man who bought the Prophet Joseph was pleased. This is known from his attitude towards the Prophet Joseph, because they made him a son, and the prophet Joseph was given a good place and service.
The Prophet Yusuf as an intermediary for this happiness makes this family treat the Prophet Joseph well. The family in question is the family of a minister who has a wife named Zulaikha.
The love and deceit of Egypt's great wife towards Joseph AS are expressed in verses 23 to 29. In these verses it is told how the wife of the Egyptian ruler—Zulaikha— seduced and seduced Yusuf AS to be willing to obey his wishes. A wife, Zulaikha, appealed to Joseph. Next, there is a banquet (QS.12:30). The invitations made up of the women gossiped about the attitude of Al-Aziz's wife who seduced Joseph. So when he heard the gossip, Al-Aziz's wife asked the women to hold a knife and fruit. They fought when they saw the handsome Prophet Joseph until their fingers were cut off.Nabi Yusuf was in prison with two young men. The story of the Prophet Yusuf became a government official (QS.12: 54-55). He requested a position as State treasurer. The story of the Prophet Yusuf teaches how one must remain steadfast in the faith and principles of Islam despite the trials and trials of alternating life. Patience and not despair and trust will lead to success. Honesty will bring people to a high degree. Fear of Allah and always feeling in the supervision of Allah has made man avoid evil deeds. God will always help his servant who always prays, both in the narrow and in the field.
Through this story, there is a lesson for mankind to always seek knowledge and do good and spread goodness and be forgiving for the spiteful.
