After today, Jing Hao would advise Cheng Xin to stay away from her cousin.
However, there was another important thing to ask Gu Jin.
“Gu Jin, long time no see.” Jing Hao consciously ignored the white-clothed man standing beside Gu Jin, and did not even bother shaking his hand as an introduction. She simply nodded to Gu Jin and asked him, “Tell me, who bullied Cheng Xin?”
His eyes swept across the crowd, but he never expected the culprit to be Gu Jin.
While Jing Hao was observing him, Gu Jin also looked at him calmly. From a short distance away, Jing Hao in his black suit had a calm and attractive temperament. He did have the bearing of someone with strength and ability.
No wonder he was able to attract a swarm of crazy bees and stalkers, thus fueling Cheng Xin's jealousy. It's just that the way he spoke was a bit offensive.
Gu Jin pulled his hand from Mu Mingcheng's wide palm, then rubbed his hand. He replied casually, “I don't know.”

After hearing his words, Cheng Xin's sobs stopped. He suddenly looked at Gu Jin, but his calm and cold cousin's eyes made him retreat in embarrassment.

According to him, Gu Jin was someone who always got good grades and was often praised for his composure.
But Gu Jin was not as beautiful as her. Her family background is not so extraordinary and she does not have a charming and beautiful personality.
That was why Cheng Xin had always felt superior in front of Gu Jin.
This sense of superiority made him feel at ease and enjoy Gu Jin's constant kindness towards him. He also sent his cousin what he believed to be a good gift from time to time.
Cheng Xin regarded Gu Jin as her own accessory and never considered her cousin's wishes.
Ironically, even though he had never revealed his inner thoughts, and had even fooled himself, his cousin Gu Jin had understood his intentions perfectly!
Now that their brotherhood has been broken, their relationship can never be repaired.
“Jing Hao,” Cheng Xin once again raised her head, then pulled Jing Hao's suit and whispered, “I'm fine. No one bullies me.”
Then he looked at the man standing beside Gu Jin with a hint of nostalgia, as if he had lost someone important. The sight of the man holding tightly onto Gu Jin's hand caused Cheng Xin's heart to sink.
Jing Hao failed to realize the sense of loss of his partner. He gently patted Cheng Xin's hand and comforted her, saying, “Don't worry, I'll make sure that anyone who dares bully you will face the consequences.”
Before Cheng Xin could explain to him, Jing Hao cut him off and exclaimed, “Gu Jin!” She scolded in a cold voice, “How could you not do your part as Cheng Xin's good friend? Didn't you see that she just got bullied?”
