Chapter 12: The Sun is Sunset
Shao Chong looked at the scene that Cheng Xin did not dare to see, and discovered that Gu Jin's wrist was showing some bruising.
Since when did Cheng Xin have this much power?
Shao Chong wanted to speak in defense of himself.
But before he could speak, Cheng Xin's phone suddenly rang.
He pulled out his phone and walked through the crowd before answering his call.
Based on his reaction, Gu Jin guessed that the caller was Jing Hao.
Sure enough, when Cheng Xin came back two minutes later, she looked like she could not hold back her happiness.
He lifted his chin and said proudly, Little “Jin, you misunderstood. I had a fight with Jing Hao so Shao Chong was just trying to comfort me by lending him his shoulder.”

Gu Jin looked at her as if he understood, but in his heart, he was secretly complaining.
When Cheng Xin saw that her cousin seemed to believe her, she finally subsided.

Shao Chong got out of the car and opened the passenger door. Gu Jin removed his seatbelt and got off his chair.

Gu Jin hummed in response. His body emitted a faint medicinal scent that seemed to make people feel at ease.
It's five o'clock in the afternoon. The sun would set on the West Hill, and the cool breeze caused the maple leaves to rustle.

After walking two steps forward, Gu Jin suddenly stopped at the bottom of the stairs and turned around.
“Shao Chong.”

Gu Jin looked into his eyes and smiled. The sunset light gently landed on her long hair and shoulders, giving a layer of golden light to her shadow. She looked like a refined beauty that was out of this world.

Shao Chong's heart pounded as he realized that his girlfriend had a pair of glowing peach-shaped eyes.

Gu Jin combed her beautiful hair and scratched it behind her ears and this time smiled coldly.
