Gu Jin clasped the wallet in his hand tightly. He looked up slowly and spoke in a cold voice: “Shao Chong, what do you mean?”
“Can't you see? I'm chasing you.” Shao Chong confidently gave the flower to her with a warm smile, “Are you willing to accept me?”
The audience applauded and cheered, “Thank him, thank him!”
“What did you say?”
Despite the crowd's encouragement, Gu Jin was unaffected. He smiled mockingly and combed the loose hair on his cheeks. “Shao Chong, I just found out today that you can't understand human language.”
Such a sentence was the same as cursing someone.
“Gu Jin, no matter how much you scold me. It was my fault, I deserve to be cursed.” Shao Chong's smile slowly disappeared, and the man stared intently into Gu Jin's eyes. “But if you want me to give up on you, I can only say that it is impossible.”

“I'm the third wheel?” Shao Chong's dark eyes swirled with a trace of anger. He lowered his voice and said, “We've been married for five years, and you even have my son–”
“The boy is gone,” Gu Jin cut him off. She showed a smile pitiful enough to break people's hearts: “I remember, when Cheng Xin was about to give birth, you were by her side, not my side.”
A gust of cold wind suddenly blew, carrying a strong rose scent. Shao Chong's face was as pale as white paper.
As Shao Chong looked past the smiling crowd and into the sea of roses, he seemed to recall the clear sight of the day: Gu Jin was lying in a pool of blood, and he was looking down on the sea of roses, her stiff hands wrapped around her stomach protectively while her body was dyed red.
Gu Jin watched with interest as Shao Chong's expression changed. He sneered, “Did you not have much money? Isn't your gift so romantic? Even affectionate?”

“Security!” Gu Jin waved to the two security guards of the dormitory while Shao Chong was drowning in his memories. “As a student of Imperial University, this man has caused trouble for my studies and my life. I hope you can send him out as soon as possible to maintain the school policy that slackers are prohibited.”
The security guard who had been waiting at the entrance of the dormitory, finally acted and politely said, “Master, this student refused to accept your confession. I hope you will cooperate with our work and go first.”
Shao Chong glared at the security guards viciously. He then turned to Gu Jin with a complicated look and said, “It doesn't matter if you don't accept me for now, but I hope you can accept this.”
He took out a folded handkerchief from his pocket and opened it carefully before handing it to Gu Jin.
A blood jade bracelet lay within it.
It was almost the same as Gu Jin's original bracelet.
“I remember that day when you lost your bracelet.” Shao Chong's fingers rubbed the bracelet, his eyes trembling for a moment. “Please consider that as my compensation for you.”
