Chapter 294: A Mission as a Temporary Knight

Before the morning sun appeared, Shiji had walked out of his inn while rubbing his eyes rough, today he was assigned as a temporary knight who was in the forces of Stella Evergarden, the warrior, it was not immediately clear what kind of task he was going to do, which he knew he only had to go out of town when it was still morning.

Shiji thought maybe he would only be bullied as a new knight but beyond belief the carriage had lined up there with the soldiers preparing to make the journey.

"You're a little late Shiji," Stella said.

"Maybe you are too early" he replied before looking up at the car. There was a woman sitting there playing with her feet.

She is a moon witch named Pandora whom she met yesterday.

"He's coming too?"

"Law asked me to take him too, he's strong so I don't mind."

Shiji agreed with that, which made him doubt only the personality that was in it, for Shiji the loli lady in front of him was a real monster.

"Are you trying to peek at my skirt?"

Shiji only retorted by shrugging both of his shoulders.

"I'm not interested in your little body."

Pandora jumps while touching Shiji's cheek with her body floating.

"You're really very brave, even mocking me."

"A bluff like this doesn't really affect me that much."

Stella smiled as she nodded her head.

"You are very familiar."

One of the soldiers whispered.

"Deputy commander, they are not at all familiar."

"True, Law and I have sometimes been at odds like that."

Stella explains her mission.

"What we will fight against is an organization called the wings of freedom created by the sorcerers of the twilight, since witches left them as a free organization that runs on their own idealism, they took one of the western cities and took its inhabitants hostage, we came to their rescue before negotiations between the queens took place later in the day."

"So what do they want?"

"Half the territories of the Diamond kingdom, they think of establishing a new government and making their leader king, of course there is an agreement that makes us have to help establish their government as well."

"That's a pretty bold idea, by the way isn't this woman also a witch?"

Shiji pointed towards Pandora who was staring out of the carriage and retorted.

"If we are fellow magicians, our purposes are different. I have absolutely no interest in the purposes of other witches, all I want is to kill the creature that killed my parents and after it's done I have nothing to do anymore except live with the way things are now."

"During this time he kept following Law wherever he went, I remember there was one more witch who did the same thing, I thought they were very close to each other."

"We slept together" said Pandora.

"Well that's not something you have to say in public" said Shiji limp, he suddenly recalled some of the wives he married, especially Rosalin who kept taking him to the inn.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm just a little bit of a past memory."

"so."

Before long their carriage came to a sudden halt after passing through the meadow and entering the rock area. The soldier who was in front gave out information.

"Deputy commander, there's a bandit group stopping us... That's quite a lot."

"They're stupid, we're royal troops they should have avoided us. I'll see for myself."

"Maybe they're confident in their abilities" Pandora said while Shiji had followed Stella from behind.
