Chapter 188: Magic Cancel

Souma moved at lightning speed as he slashed at the golem machine trying to attack him, before long Lilith's transmission reached him.

"What's Lilith?"

"I met two master heroes, they were heroes summoned from another world through the empire like they had been lied to. What should I do?"

"Send them back to their world."

"It seems they don't want to go back."

Souma jumped as a bunch of lightning rained down on him.

"Then send them to the city of Huruhara and tell them to meet Astrea."

"Understand."

Souma directed his hand to create a black flame that burned the entire golem machine until all that was left was the God Machine biting the side end of his mouth.

He was convinced that if he continued to create golems it could make his enemy exhausted but Souma did not look to lose his breath and stood up without difficulty.

"Damn..."

God Machine chose to attack him himself, he turned his entire body into iron before stepping forward. Souma gave a swing of the sword past his side which hit him until it was thrown several meters away.

"How can a man like you beat me."

God Machine placed his hand on the ground and the iron clump burst out from inside there forming a high cone, not only Souma if it was left the entire population here would die, but Souma had anticipated this.

A red magic circle is created along the city, it is not the magic that Souma did but rather the result of the crystal previously given to his colleagues, Historia, Jin, Jibel and Nymph.

The entire iron that the God Machine created shattered into sand fragments including the iron that enveloped it.

"I don't know, what exactly is that?"

"Don't joke, I'm a God Machine who has the ability of a god equal, I get this with various experiments even I've sucked the whole life energy of many people."

"I already know that, the Alchemist you used did indeed drain your life in exchange for you having to obtain the life energy of others, and it seems to be the reason why the city is isolated from the outside so that people from other cities don't know that you're gradually killing people."

The Magic Cancel was no longer needed then with a single flick of the finger it shattered into dust fragments. Souma walked to the side of the wall that surrounded this city, some people followed him from behind as he slashed his sword to knock down the wall.

"This is better."

Everyone could see how the expanse of grassland spread wide and beautifully making everyone unable to hold back his tears.
