Anna and Misela were sitting at the front of the carriage while Souma and Scarlett were watching from the freight train, along the eyes there was only a barren field and there some animal bones seemed to aggravate his condition.
"I didn't expect it to be this severe, the dragon festival was truly terrifying."
"That's how, even we've tried so hard to try to restore the land back unfortunately it didn't happen anything" Anna replied to Scarlett's statement.
Now everyone turned their eyes towards Souma who was smiling wryly.
"I know your worries, I can definitely return the land, my name is the guarantee."
Not usually Souma spoke that far for no reason until the three breathed a sigh of relief, Souma had promised Anna that therefore he just wanted to keep it as good as possible.
Their carriage began to enter the slum-looking city area which was all filled by the demon races, seeing their queen return there was an indescribable pleasure on their faces as well as shock as well where Anna had clearly turned into a child.
Anna cried while standing from her seat.
"I really lost my wife."
"You'll be back in a few days' time" said Souma limp.
Scarlett pulled her head out of the carriage and said.
"If this land is barren what makes you last this long?" Misela answered it.
"We eat Ripera fruit, this fruit can grow well in the barren land just that."
His words stopped there, Misela bought two pieces that she found along the way which she gave to Souma and Scarlett. The fruit resembles a pear with a shiny white color.
Souma thought the fruits here would be identical to the dark color but white ornaments were also in it.
When the two ate it their expressions turned difficult. Scarlett did not even want to try it twice and went back to wearing her mask back.
"It's definitely not food."
Souma agreed with what he said, this fruit has no aroma and smells almost like someone eating cotton.
Souma could understand why Anna sometimes thought about her hometown, she might feel bad about everyone.
When he ate well his people obviously had nothing to enjoy. Souma subconsciously patted Anna's hair while smiling at her.
"Souma."
"We've arrived" Misela's words cut off the romantic gaze of the two.
At the end of the street was a palace that had been damaged, the front had disappeared and the door looked quite rusty.
The fact that there were still people working something that was enough to make some disbelievers, the servants and also the guards bowed respectfully to Anna who had re-installed her feet.
"Welcome, my queen."
"I'm back, don't think about my shrinking body. I'll be back in a few days."
"We understand."
"Please take our important guests to a special room, I'll be back after changing my clothes."
"Good."
Souma tilted his head looking at Anna.
"You're like a noble?"
"I am a noble."
It was almost unbelievable that Anna could rule someone well, if Souma remembered Anna would rather prepare something herself without depending on others.
This side is not bad either.
In order for Anna to play her role well, Souma just followed everything casually. Scarlett preferred to stick to her arm while watching every ornament she saw.
