It was an abandoned ruin, every floor had been destroyed the building was covered in moss and Ivy plants were creeping around it, there was no place to rest which was obviously all that was once a city.
Janet watched her surroundings with a sparkling look, not knowing what she wanted to do but she obviously could not help herself to investigate, while Souma only sighed long watching from behind, especially about his body that wriggled incoherently.
He turned.
"Souma, by the way, you haven't told me why you came here yet?"
"On that matter, I came to fix this city."
Janet tilted her head, fixing how one is able to do it more?
Before he asked any further Souma first explained.
"It may be strange, but someone said that one day the people of this town would come back, I guess I just wanted to help her by restoring the city's current situation."
Actually the one who said it was the two twin guards of the Sanctuary tomb.
"Unless you do that, you need a lot of people to do it for nothing."
"I've had enough, let's just say it's charity work."
"Just for someone's sake you do that, you must like that person, who is that woman?"
Souma shook his hand.
"We're just friends after all I'm married."
"I was married at a young age, I was 30 years old but not married. Well whatever, I'll start checking it out, make sure not to do anything before I'm done."
"Understanding," if counting Souma's birth is clearly the oldest here.
For the first time, Souma would only try to repair the walls surrounding this city. Lugunica yawned widely which signaled her new wake up.
"My sleep is so good, have we arrived?"
"Well, I'm just starting to fix this town."
"What's that?"
"Liquids exterminator."
"Truly effective, then how to return the hollow part."
"Easy it."
Souma stretched out his hand and every scattered ruin reassembled the time.
"The magic of time."
"So that's it."
Souma again sprayed the pest-killing liquid and after the afternoon he finally finished doing it, of course the other side of the wall was still not done, before a shout echoed to make him run to check.
It came from the middle of the city and from her voice was clearly Janet, she was bound by some tendrils making her look indecent.
"I'm stretched, don't look at it."
"If I don't see him how do I save you?" replied Souma indifferently.
Souma leaped into the air and then gave a few slashes to free him before leaping backwards while carrying him in front.
"You okay?"
"My heart's not okay."
Souma let go of her hand so that Janet's body fell down.
"Sick, do it gently."
"No time, he's coming."
Plants that attack Janet is a flower-like plant with a mouth at the bottom, if called plants taste less fit then the picture of monsters is the right thing.
Souma swung his katana sword and it split the monster neatly.
"Wait, where did your sword come from? And also instead of using the sword on your back more effectively."
"Fufu, I am a special item I only use at certain times," replied the arrogant Lugunica.
So far Souma has never used it though he is convinced that Lugunica's power and arrogant speech is the real thing.
"Then may I try your sword, I'm sure I can slash something with it."
"How's Lugunica?"
"I don't mind, I'll let it go."
Souma gave Lugunica's sword to Janet and she immediately felt the transfer of the great sword.
"It's so heavy."
"There's one more monster coming."
"It's time I shine, let's just say it's a retribution for harassing me just now."
Janet set her eyes on the monster that was moving closer to her, she painstakingly raised the sword up and dropped it down, only with that did either the monster or the building behind it split into two halves creating a straight line with incomparable destruction.
