In the corridor of the Harmonia church, a girl in a white military uniform was walking past him. He had long black hair while his eyes were sky blue.
"The evangelista."
Realizing his name being called he stopped and turned his head towards the voice that had appeared from behind him.
"You're Hector, what do you need from me?"
Hector is a man who hides his face with an iron mask, where no one knows how the original form of the white uniform.
"Where are you going? Not that we have received a mission to attack the city of witches, only we are still alive from the 12 holy knights, me, you and Ferdinand."
Almost all 12 holy knights were not killed by witches but by Riel and Karina.
"I'm just a spy, my duty is not fit for slaughter, dah."
"In other words the sword on your waist is just a display."
Evangelista just waved his hand until he got further away and only left a trail of foot steps that echoed with him.
He was in the tavern at noon and in the afternoon he decided to go to a building that had previously been used as a research lab for the creation of new humans, the building itself is in the form of ruins but without people realizing there is a secret path to reach the basement.
While identifying with others, the Evangelista decided not to talk about it to anyone and chose to investigate it himself as he does now.
This place was built with tens or even hundreds of lives sacrificed, at least Evangelista wished there was something precious that he could take for himself.
He walked further and further away from the surface and found an unused room, some were prison rooms that contained human repetitive bones, for the noble class, to be found, the man named Scarlett Evergarden seemed to be a bar-bar.
He wanted a strong and immortal body and when he got it he destroyed it so that no one could take it from him.
There's a glass box in there with a blood tube in it.
"Heh, so this is what Scarlett uses," Evangelista muttered and took the tube, thinking what is this material capable of making humans evolve? Or maybe this tube was a failed experiment? Evangelista thought a lot about it in his head.
He thought that this was a gamble that he should try.
Death and life are his choices.
He took a syringe and filled it with blood in the tube before inserting it into his body.
A few minutes nothing happened but as he was about to leave his body experienced a rejection reaction. His blood rose as if boiling, his heart tightened until he felt pain all over his body.
The Evangelista vomited blood for a moment before finally collapsing to the floor unconscious, even though he died at least he tried, he thought to himself.
The next morning the Evangelista realized that he was still alive, he checked his body to make sure no changes had happened to him.
"I didn't feel anything, did it fail?"
Evangelista got up and saw his reflection in front of the mirror, his blue eyes had changed with bright red eyes burning, and fangs peering out from the tip of his mouth.
"I think it worked."
In order to test it, Evangelista injured his hand with the sword on his waist and in an instant recovered. She smiled a little.
"So this is the name Vampire, not bad either. It seems from here I only drink blood, what can make great power always obtained through sacrifice," he said.
