Chapter 232: The Witch of the Explosion
-- Seeing how the magic he used worked, a smile was painted on Undine's face, he did not care how his adventurous friend reacted that clearly he was very satisfied.
The giant skull was destroyed simultaneously, creating a distortion from a spectacular explosion. As he held onto his staff Undine wanted to explode again, he was quite aroused by it.
All this time he had only sent explosions to an empty place to throw away his passion, it certainly could not be compared to detonating a lifeless creature.
When he thought about it, the real threat had come to him. Above the sky a man floated in a pink military uniform, he did not look like a human but in the form of a giant bird that pounced on the Undine and dropped it down, it was fortunate that the Undine could survive by drifting to the ground.
The uniformed bird swooped back at him, different from before a magic circle held him right in its beak.
Undine says "Boom" and the bird's body is blown up to produce black smoke that gushes into the air, the bird's figure has been replaced with a human, less precise also if it is called a human but the undead just like the others.
"Power turns your body into any animal, doesn't it?"
The man grinned.
"Make it more precisely a monster."
His hands grew and his body began to give rise to fur and teeth grinding, he was now completely transformed into a long-extinct werewolf.
Its own extinction was caused by a vampire attack but so far no one knows the details.
Putting that aside, Undine created a row of magic circles from which each one of these circles spewed fire like a wave. The enemy in front of him dodged it with quick movements, he had already guessed that Undine was an expert in long attacks hence she took a form that could move quickly to narrow the distance.
He leaped through the air preparing to deliver a slash through his claws which was held in good stead by a girl who was helping the Undine out of the blue. Not suddenly also actually when the explosion occurred he was around the place. Having golden hair that contrasted with her knightly attire, instead of wearing a skirt she wore white trousers, she was Stella Evergarden.
He pushed his sword making his enemy jump keeping his distance.
"You okay Undine?"
"I'm fine."
"Then."
Unexpectedly Stella's hand pulled Undine's face.
"Who told you to fight the skull with a big bang while we were there."
Although the scolded Undine showed no remorse, on the other hand her enemy tilted his head.
"You can relax even when facing me, completely underestimating my strength."
"Instead of no, your name is Armor, you are 12 holy knights with transformational abilities. Didn't you?" reply Stella.
"Heh, you seem to know me."
"In the kingdom we have a list of influential people from the Harmonia church, when Law says something is wrong we all immediately memorize our enemies."
"I commend your readiness but only to the extent that you can fight me."
"Undine let's beat him together?"
"Don't ask again let's destroy him."
A magic circle appeared from above which shot fireballs towards the target darting below.
"Are you only able to use explosion magic, it's a pity that such a thing won't mean a thing."
Just as Armor was mocking him suddenly his movements came to a halt, it was not due to choosing silence but rather because of a magic circle stopping him that suddenly appeared under his feet.
"Since when?"
"I'm a witch who always completes missions alone, if I can be easily defeated you're mistaken."
The magic circle glowed creating a pillar of fire that redeemed into the sky, as the flames vanished Stella's figure ran at her.
His body was charred but not to kill him. The swung sword prepared to slash his neck but first caught his hand.
"Magic Creator, Cross the World, the Forest of Silence."
Either Stella or Undine has been drawn into a different world.
