Heroes From Other Worlds Who Don't Like To Fight
Chapter 202: A Sword

After defeating Bertovo, Souma had to face a woman named Milaina with the eyes of Rigen 11.

He pulled both swords into his hands while sticking out his tongue in a licking pose before stepping forward.

Souma did the same thing so the two clashed swords, it created a spark as the two metals collided. In Rigen mode, every round table knight could precisely predict every attack even the pull of the sword Souma did could be held back by his enemy.

Thumped.

The two of them were thrown back to each other.

For a moment Souma felt quite a terrible air coming from the Red Wall. If not mistaken it was something similar that he could feel while in the dragon city.

"The witch."

"Where are you looking?"

Two swords swung from above which could have been avoided by rolling to the side, the previous foothold where Souma was split into a deep abyss.

Souma could feel the aura of the magician named Fram getting stronger even so he obviously did nothing but sit there looking at the whole thing that was happening in this region.

Souma sent out a wind slash that was able to block both of Milaina's swords and was countered with a lightning slash.

Scratches appeared on Souma's cheek along with the wreckage that was cut off behind him.

"If your strength isn't just this isn't it, take your sword seriously."

"I'm serious," Souma replied before darting forward.

Rigen's eyes blocked any kind of magic hence directly fighting was only the main choice.

Souma bowed as the two swords nearly slashed at him in front, he positioned himself sideways then used the pull of the sword to slash at his enemy.

The two enemy swords held him back even so he had to be thrown far back.

"No."

Blood gushed from Milaina who hit the wall of the building before she got up and looked towards Souma who was walking with a gagged sword.

"That's obviously not going to be possible, our emperor is stronger than anyone. You will only lose after facing him."

"We'll see."

Souma turned around and walked leaving the woman behind him.

"You didn't kill me?"

"I do not attack a man who has lost his motivation to fight, your sword has no killing intent."

Souma could tell by just feeling her slash, Milaina tried to attack Souma from behind but Souma's sword made her two swords flung into the air.

"I was a swordsman in a small village, one day the emperor offered me a treaty... if you join the round table knights then the entire population of this village will be saved but if you refuse they will die, I chose to join and become his tool to fight against other kingdoms but one day the entire population of my village was still dead and the people who had done so were the ones whose kingdom was destroyed by me, since then I've lost my purpose as to why I should swing my sword."

"That's how war is, you take something important from someone and you lose something important in return."

Compared to anyone Souma could understand that. That's why he started not to like to fight.

"It doesn't matter to be relaxed and stay away from fighting, it's better for you than living like this, to be honest I want to do the same, too," souma said before using her teleportation magic and appeared above the Red Wall wall where Fram was sitting in front of her.

He used his hands as a backrest to support his cheeks while smilingly staring at him.

"You coming too? That, your name?"

"Souma, the medic."

"Drug wielder, if you can be that strong then the swordsman will cry loh."

"Quite the bases, what do you want to come here to the witch."

"It doesn't matter if you want to kill me, stab me," he said in a teasing tone.

Fram's ability is to link her death to others, if Souma does so the whole town will obviously die.
