Chapter 231: The Siege

Although the sky was clear to Law who saw it all grey, it was certainly just a parable, he had failed to save the capital including losing the only family left to him.

And now he had to protect everything in this city, just when he thought about it appeared a giant clock in the sky.

"What's that?"

As his voice echoed Law who stood on the wall along the city being startled with 10 giant skulls appearing in front of him, the skulls began to split and each was about to tear down the wall, he said, one skull leads to Law where the two look at each other directly.

He sends his hand which Law slashes with ease, pieces of fingers falling down, before the skull moves back, Law's sword has crushed his head.

Elsewhere some who were not as lucky as him were dropped from high walls, crushed like mosquitoes.

"No! Stop.. gwaaah."

"What the fuck is all this?"

Almost all the troops on standby at the wall had been wiped out, Stella who was at the bottom even had to climb upstairs while knocking down one skull closest to her before running at Law.

"It's bad, they don't come from the front.they use underground channels to attack us."

"They did it that far."

Law stood guard outside but to be honest the enemy had passed him long ago. Of the 10 remaining skulls 8 more and Law decides to defeat them first.

"Let me handle it, you fight inside."

"Understand."

"Foot!"

The fire bullets of several soldiers were directed at one of them, Law who fell from the sky smashed him with a sword.

"Commander?"

"Everybody away from the wall, the enemy is in the city if you find him kill immediately."

"We understand."

For the first time Law acted outside of the knights, he had always hoped to catch them with a fair punishment but this kind of condition only had two options. Killed or killed.

Just as he was about to switch to another skull, one also fell in front of him.

He was a man wearing a pink uniform, his body was thin and his face was pale, different from a man who fought with a weapon he carried a flute in his hand.

"You're my first opponent, interesting."

"Twelve holy knights."

"Fright."

When he blew his flute a pressure was felt by Law which pulled him down.

"Owh, interesting.You can withstand the pressure, your body should have been destroyed."

Law's sword was specially made and filled with various spells from moon magicians, he used to set his sword at the weight of a ton as a drill and was the heaviest until it reached the giant mountain.

The man in front of him laughed while covering his face.

"My name is Lian, I think I found a good opponent.Comfort me knight."

Law darted forward with his sword, without removing the smile on his face Lian held the sword with a flute.

"The roar of the forest."

From the flute creates a sound that throws Law backwards, as he tries to re-strengthen his horses, the kick hits his face until he dives down, falling down, not into the city but out of the wall whose surface is only filled with green grass.

A skull leg stepped on it until it spouted the ground into the air. Lian who came down followed tilted her head.

"Is it done?"

Simultaneously the skull that stepped on the law was destroyed.

"So then, you control these disgusting creatures."

"It's a work of art, a man like you wouldn't understand what art is."

Law grinned.

"An adventurer in our town knows better what art is."

"What do you mean?"

Whether Law or Lian both turned their eyes to a witch standing on the wall, she wore a long robe and a pointy hat on her head and did not forget the staff in her hands.

"Only a fool would dare to attack this city when I came and was a mager, I am Undine a magician who went through the path of countless explosions, whoever the enemy is I will blow everything up without a remnant, feel this fucking asshole!"

"That guy?" ask Lian confused.

"For art is an explosion."

After Undine had finished her brutal recitation, a giant magic circle sprung up right at the head of the remaining skull, the guards and adventurers who had come up against her started to get scared inside the wall.

"Everything's running, it's no mistake this magic from the crazy witch."

"That guy wants to blow us up too."

"Hoho, you guys are scared just fine, because I'm the strongest witch. The Flame Burning Explosion."

And explosions echoed throughout the region.

"Geez, there's a madman in this town."

"But he's pretty reliable."

Law swung his sword and Lian jumped to avoid it.
