Handsome CEO Shadow Wife

Handsome CEO Shadow Wife
Who Am I to You?

Dhatu regrets his decision to cheer the heart by eating good food at his favorite restaurant. Who would have thought, he would see a chest-stifling sight there. Everyone who saw that pair of friendly-looking human children, could definitely deduce if they were lovers. Both of them looked friendly and harmonious, incomparable to his mediocre self.

A bit of pain spread and filled every niche of Dhatu's heart as he looked at the gentle gaze that the man gave to the woman before him, while he often received hatred from the man. It was unfair, how could the man treat her differently? In fact, she is an official wife recognized by family, law, and also religion. His status did win from the foreign woman, but, in fact, he was nothing to the man.

He does not expect love, because it is too difficult for married couples forced like them. But should the man betray the promise they made before God? Is the hatred of the man not enough to torture his bathin, until he could torture Dhatu even more cruel? Perhaps indeed, this was one of the reasons the man hated her.

Dhatu immediately took his steps away. His heart was not that loud, a heart-wrenching pain, making him seem unable to hold on anymore. If they do not remember their parents, then Dhatu prefers to leave. Give that man the freedom he needs. He admitted, if their marriage should not have happened, but all that could not justify the man's attitude to him.

Dhatu stopped his steps when he felt far away from the restaurant. He rested his back on a nearby building. He felt his chest tight. He was in love and heartbroken, but never hurt like this? In fact, he had experienced the same thing, betrayed by the man he loved so much. Are all men on this earth the same? Often break the heart and make love as a game that can be abandoned so bosen.

Dhatu made a face, staring at the hostile night sky at him. Space looks beautiful with some celestial objects decorating it, contrary to his current feelings. Tears fell and soaked Dhatu's cheeks.

"What should I do?"

Dhatu crouched down and hugged his knees. She drowned her face there and cried. Strangely tightness that dominates the chest does not subside. It still feels so painful.

***

Dhatu swept around the room when he arrived home and the living room was not as dark as when he returned this afternoon. The short needle on his watch was already pointing to the number eleven. Maybe the guy just came home after dating, Dhatu thought. The woman was sneaking around, not wanting to be known about her existence by Dirga who was currently out of nowhere. Honestly, he started learning not to care.

"Where are you from?"

The man's voice stopped Dhatu's steps. He looks like a thief who is seen by the host. Dhatu froze in place. It is wrong not to ask permission first, but is all that necessary when the man demands it invisible? Dhatu thought, the man did not want to know the existence, nor see his body.

"The story is even diem. You're deaf, aren't you?" Dhatu could hear footsteps approaching him.

Dhatu turned around and tried to smile as sweetly as he could. "Isn't the honorable Lord Dirga asking me to be a shadow? You should have treated me like that, too. Not seen."

The man smiled mockingly. "I didn't mean to see you. You're proud of your wife's status, but don't know how to be someone's wife."

Hmh! Does he think he knows how to behave as a husband? How ridiculous!

"Just calm down, sir. I know my limits as someone's wife, so I can take good care of myself."

The man was broken. "By letting yourself be in another man's arms?"

Dhatu was surprised to hear the man's words. Another guy?

"So pretend to forget. I know exactly how your kind of woman behaves. It's disgusting!" The man looked at Dhatu with a demeaning look that Dhatu did not like.

"Last noon, on the rooftop to be exact"

Dhatu raised both eyes. That guy saw her with Krishna this afternoon? Oh my God .. the man was just trying to calm her down. Dirga was the reason behind his crying, so he borrowed Krishna's shoulder to cry. If it wasn't for the man, then Dhatu wouldn't have cried at work. Things he always avoided. Even when it was decided through a short message, Dhatu did not cry at all.

"He's just a friend."

"Yes .. yes .. friends who hugged."

Dhatu clenched his hands tightly beside his body. Obviously the man who cheated on her behind her, why was he the one accused? Ah .. maybe this is the man's way of finding his fault in order to free themselves from the burden of the marriage they are living together.

"From friends, but friendly?" Sindir Dhatu's. The man managed to provoke his emotions.

The man grabbed Dhatu's arms and looked at him sharply. "What do you mean?"

Dhatu removed the grip of Dirga's hand from his arm and smiled innocently. "You want what?"

"You quit your job."

"Never!" Dhatu knows if this debate will not end well.

"Alright if that's what you want. Get ready to feel hell at home, or at work."

Dhatu is not afraid to listen to the menace of the man. After all his life was like hell, what difference if tortured even worse.

"Anyway," said Dhatu as he walked away from Dirga, but the man clasped his arm, stopping the woman's steps. Dirga flips Dhatu's rough body towards him.

"Don't make it harder on me. I'm going to divorce you so soon and my mom is calm and sure that our relationship can't be forced, so I hope you don't get in my way."

Dhatu smiled even though his heart was sad. "I will help you achieve your goals by remaining a shadow wife, so I hope you treat me as well." Dhatu removed the man's hand from his arm, "Don't look, don't notice my presence, and act like a stranger when we meet. Forever .. I am your shadow. That way you won't feel troubled by my existence."

Yes, that should be what they do for the sake of taking care of each other's hearts. Not only did Dhatu have to be invisible, but the man had to ignore it wherever they met. That way, they would still be a pair of strangers living together. That way, it is possible, Dhatu can hide all his own pain.

"Where can I pretend not to see you, if you keep appearing in front of me?"

Dhatu could hear the anger at the tone of the man's voice. Why did the man just realize, if indeed all this would be difficult for both of them.
