Dhatu throws Krisna's hand, making the man stop his steps and turn towards her. The man looked at Dhatu guilty when he saw him rubbing his wrist. He grimaced, he did not understand why it could be so angry to see there are men who like Dhatu. Moreover, the man was much different from him in social status, making him feel inferior and also frightened. Which woman doesn't like bear men. If asked to choose, surely every woman will choose a man who is financially stable, right? Krisna felt so defeated before fighting.
"Sorry, Tu. I don't know what got into me" said Krisna, full of regrets.
Dhatu forced a smile. He knew that man was only protecting him. The man knew nothing about them, so it was no wonder he immediately pulled Dhatu away. That guy must be afraid of being played. That's how Krisna is known, often take good care of him and always protect him.
Dhatu remembered the beginning he entered the office. Krisna helps cover up her mistakes and becomes a shield for Dhatu or when Dhatu is heartbroken, Krisna takes her around the mall, watching movies, and also spending a lot of ice cream. The man's often protective attitude, made him feel safe near the man. Dhatu feels he has an older brother who is always ready to be his shield and so spoiled by the mature Krishna. He also does not matter if because of their closeness, making him have many enemies. Dhatu is comfortable with Krishna, so he prefers to be hated rather than stay away.
"No pa-pa, Mom. I know, if you're just trying to protect me," said Dhatu gently, "but, next time don't be like that. What else is he our superior, Mas."
"He should also behave like a superior, Tu. Not even teasing you," said Krisna full of anger.
Dhatu smiled miris. If he could tell Krisna the truth, then he would not feel wrong. Seeing the anger in both eyes of Krishna made Dhatu sure that now is not the right time to talk everything to Krishna. Dhatu will tell everything to Krisna so as not to make the misunderstanding between them bigger.
"Sir Dirga is not that kind of person, Mas. We can't judge someone we don't know. Negative thinking about someone will only make our brains tainted with toxins that make us hate."
"How do you know what kind of person he is?" Krisna chuckled, "Had to say, you're often asked to go to her room, all because she likes you. People like him are no match for people like us, Tu. Too differently. They're going to make low-key people like us just a game" he continued with the same anger.
Dhatu no longer responds. This was the thinking of those who had such sosia status. Feeling the rich will never be worthy of being with the Poor. The rich will play the poor. While the Poor will highlight the wealth of the Rich, thinking is common in our society. Where differences are unacceptable and considered inappropriate.
"We're back in the room yuk, Mas!"
Krisna looked at Dhatu researching. He had no idea what was on that woman's mind. Whether the woman was offended by her words so clearly showed that they and Dirga were like heaven and earth. Fear permeates every niche of Krishna's heart. Want to be honest about his feelings, but he is afraid that he will make Dhatu stay away. However, seeing Dirga's courage even more makes his fear become so.
"Tu .. What kind of man do you like?"
Dhatu scrunched his forehead. "Why is it all of a sudden?"
Krisna smiled clumsily while scratching her head that did not itch. "Just curious. I thought, Mr. Dirga must have all the criteria to be liked by a woman. He is handsome, rich, and has a position" Krisna said in a stifled voice. Saying all the advantages of his rival made him feel so dwarfed. Who he was up to deserved to compete with a near-perfect guy like Dirga.
Krishna's smile expands. He shook his head. Yes, that's how Dhatu he knew, the woman was not 'will probably be lured just because of money alone. The woman would have preferred someone who loved her sincerely, compared to a man who was a treasure-deep, yet lacked sincerity. Stupid indeed, how could Krishna feel afraid of things that he did not need to worry about. How can Krisna equate Dhatu with most women out there, Dhatu is different, and his personality is what makes Krishna fall in love. As soon as he saw Dhatu for the first time, he was sure, that sense was love. Krishna soon followed Dhatu's steps.
Minutes by minutes have passed. Short needle. It points to the number five. As usual, Dhatu will let one by one his co-workers leave the room, while he pretends to concern himself with the daily reports, in order to have the last return. Now, he no longer waits in the mini market, the two agreed to meet at the Dirga car park when the office was quiet.
"You've done a lot of work, Tu?" the question of the man beside her made Dhatu aware if he was not alone in the room.
Dhatu smiled clumsyly. "No, my mom. Just idle. Go home first."
Instead of being driven away, the man put his chin on the table and looked at Dhatu with a gaze that he could not understand. Always being together like this makes Krishna realize, if the woman is the most beautiful woman he has ever met. Her tiny lips, pointed nose, doll-like round eyes, and also an often heart-stirring smile.
"Is there something on my face?" tanya Dhatu sebar rubbed his face. The gaze of Krisna who had earlier attached to him made Dhatu become misbehaved.
Krishna smiled sweetly and shook her head. "I'm waiting, yeah. We have never been out together for a long time. You got a motor?"
Dhatu. "No need to wait, Mom. Go home first. I'm not calm if I wait for gini."
Krishna laughed a little. "Just like who the hell, Tu. I just chilled it. I wait and I go home. You didn't have a motor, did you? I haven't seen your bike parked in a few days."
Dhatu grimacing. He was confused to find any other reason to reject the man. He couldn't have lied to Dirga.
"Why, Tu? I want you to go home so confused. Though I used to be really cool if I wanted to anterin go home?"
Dhatu smiled clumsyly. Of course it's not like it used to be. She is married and no longer lives with her parents. Dhatu let out a long breath and slowly swallowed him. Maybe this is a good time to tell her secret to Krishna. Krishna could definitely keep the secret he was about to share.
"Actually, Mas. I'm ...."
