Dhatu wept for Dirga who was increasingly visibly weak with blood flowing from his gunshot wound, Dirga had already lost consciousness. Dhatu's screams could no longer be heard. While Alvin laughed happily to see his rival lying on the floor. A few minutes later, several uniformed men surrounded the place, too suddenly, until the careless Avin was easily bent. Drew who emerged from behind the backs of those people immediately ran up to Dirga.
"Brew ... My Dirga ...." Dhatu sobbing.
Drew immediately called a few people to carry Dirga to the car and brought the man to his rescue. Dhatu followed and his tears could not be stopped. Dhatu gets into the car first and lets Drew put the man's head on his lap pepper. Drew immediately drives a car, on his way to the nearest hospital, Drew asks some of his confidants to take care of Alvin from. He contacted them with his cell phone. Won't let the madman who hurt his master just get away with it. Drew peeked out of the middle rearview mirror and his heart seemed to be sliced by the backseat.
"Mas .. must be strong for me and our child" Dhatu sobbed. He clasped Dirga's hand tightly. His hands had been covered in Dirga's blood. Next to Dhatu's hand pressed down on Dirga's gunshot wound, trying to stop Dirga's blood from flowing. In his heart he continued to pray that God would take care of Dirga and give them even longer to be together.
Minutes by minutes have passed. They had arrived at the hospital and Dirga was immediately rushed to the operating room. Dhatu cries and wants to go in, but the doctor prevents him and Drew pulls the woman's hand, asking her to sit up. On the seat Dhatu tears kept flowing and she unceasingly offered prayers for her husband. While Drew takes care of the hospital administration and also asks the development of the Alvin case which is being handled by the authorities.
Drew also contacted Dirga's parents, fearing that something would not happen. Drew thinks Dhatu also needs someone who can certainly hug and calm him. Which, of course, Drew can't give to his boss' wife. Drew looked at Dhatu who was looking down while crying.
"Calm, Mum. Mr. Dirga's parents will be here soon. Remember the mother's baby, if the mother can't control herself, then she will also be tormented."
Drew knows that his words can't be comforting at all, they can even sound complicated. He is as panicked as Dhatu, however, he must be strong and calm in order to be relied upon. He had to take care of everything so that Dirga there could struggle to meet his little family again.
Dhatu raised his face. Drew's words have a point. He should be strong at a time like this. He cannot be weak for the sake of their baby. Self-torture is not the way out, it will only make Dirga more worried. Dhatu rubbed his tears rough.
"I'm afraid, Mas Dirga will leave me."
Drew smiled soothingly and shook his head. "Sir Dirga is strong. He's a black belt holder. It used to be fighting and coming home with wounds, he didn't cry at all. He always gets up and Mr. Dirga is not a person who gives up easily. Mr. Dirga will fight to get back to his family. Believe, Mom. Everything will be fine!"
Drew's words made Dhatu's tears flow again. Is it true that the man will struggle and God will give them the opportunity to enjoy the happiness of their little family? Is everything going to be okay?
Dhatu nodded, trying to infect Drew's optimistic attitude to himself. Drew smiled and immediately stood up. "Bu Lestari is coming soon. Is there anyone you want to come and accompany?"
Dhatu smiled faintly and shook his head. He did not want to tell this to his parents, fearing that they would follow him anxiously. However, Dhatu was sure if his in-laws would preach both parents this terrible news. Dhatu only wants Dirga's safety.
"Can I stay a minute?" Drew glanced to the side and looked at a man standing not far from them, "his name is Agus and he will accompany Bu Dhatu for a while. If you need anything, tell Agus, I have to go to the police station and take care of everything there."
"Please, Drew. Go and I'll wait here. Please help prayer for the safety of Dirga."
Drew nodded. "That's for sure, Mom. He is like my own brother. Actually, I also feel scared and devastated, but I have to be strong for Mr. Dirga."
Dhatu smiled briefly. "There's a lot for everything, Drew."
Drew nodded at a glance, then walked away from Dhatu who returned to shed tears as the man left. He wanted to work hard, but it felt so hard. He could not get rid of the fear that was eating away at his heart. Prayer never stopped, either. Dhatu pleads for a second chance to be with his loved ones.
Minutes by minutes have passed. Lestari as well as Dian, ran towards Dhatu. Behind the two women were Darma, Sanjaya, Krishna, and also Rina. He and Lestari embraced Dhatu in turn.
"Drew has explained everything" Lestari said as soon as he saw Dhatu trying to explain what happened. The woman's body shook violently, Lestari knew that Dhatu had been feeling so chaotic as all of them, that she did not want Dhatu to be more tormented by telling what happened.
"You and your baby are fine, right?" Lestari looked at her daughter-in-law from head to toe. Dhatu nodded.
"Why can Alvin take this long, Tu?" Dian cried and immediately hugged her poor daughter's body.
Really, Dian does not believe Alvin who was full of love can be this cruel. Although there is an agreement to marry her daughter to the Sanjaya family, but seeing the sincerity of Alvin, makes Dian and her husband want to find an excuse if the two of them are indeed paired up to the level of marriage. However, today's incident made Dian aware, if their decision to marry Dhatu to Dirga was the right thing. He shudders imagining how his beloved daughter's life would end with Alvin.
"Ma .. It's all my fault. If only I could take better care of myself, then Mas Dirga would not be hurt," sobs Dhatu sound heartbreaking.
He took off a hug, cupped Dhatu's face with both hands and shook his head. "Don't make yourself tormented like this, Tu. You used to feel the same. Your guilt for Dirga cannot be repeated. You'll get hurt again and I'm sure Dirga won't like it."
Lestari clasped Dian's arm, shook her head weakly, signaling that Dian would not tell her more about the past.
"Repeatedly? Meaning, Ma?" Dhatu stared at the two women before him in turn.
