Guardians of the Heart #2

Guardians of the Heart #2
Extra Part 6

At around seven o'clock in the evening the acarapun began, many guests have started to come to meet the respsi area.

“Cause.” I tried to calm her who looked tense despite the sweet smile on her pretty face, I clapped her hand that was holding my arm.

“If it is wrong how?”

“Kan just walk so it can't be wrong.” I smiled at her excessive worry.

Right now we have stood ready for the procession of the sword of debauchery, a bachelorette discharge ceremony for officers as well as an event of the introduction of a bride who has been legally a wife of an officer into the military circle and also introduce the wife into the military world.

In front of us we have now lined up 12 of my comrades facing each other with swords drawn down, and when Beno who this time plays the commander of the squad reports to me that the sword of debaucher is ready.

Slowly we began to walk and one by one the swords began to be drawn up, we continued to walk through the gate of the swords, and, I can hear everyone sound amazed by the formation that symbolizes that we with the attitude and soul of the knight will always be ready to overcome all obstacles and break through all obstacles encountered in our marriage.

We stopped in the middle and the formation changed, the entire squad now surrounded us with swords drawn into the middle forming an umbrella with us standing face to face under the sword.

I smiled back at her who was also now looking at me with a smile when I pinned the wedding ring on her ring finger, then she did the same thing before finally Za who has now officially become the wife of an officer received a set of uniform Persit (Union of army wives) which means now she has officially become part from the military world.

Simultaneously Beno called for a sword and poetry reading as a reflection of prayer so that we could join hands to overcome all obstacles, and after everything was done we were finally welcome to the guarantee.

“That's right, it wasn't the wrong way,” I whispered after we got guaranteed

“Hihihi..”.

He smiled shyly before we finally received congratulations from the invited guests who were mostly my colleagues, my parents' colleagues, and what was surprising was that we received a bouquet of flowers from the President, Kemenhukam, and others, The French and Japanese embassies, and some ministers and other famous people who even I have never met with them myself.

The reception was over at about 9, but we didn't come home because we got a voucher to stay at the resort tonight.

I told Za to go up and rest first while I was still at the bottom with some of my friends who decided to sit down and chat after the reception, including Arga, Juang, Dirga, Adit, he said, Agus and Rendy.

That night I just went into the room at about 11 pm and I saw Za was already sleeping with her mouth open, but inwardly feel very guilty because he must be very tired.

I took a shower, changed my clothes and finally got to lay my body on the bed with a woman who was none other than my legal wife. I slowly raised his head to lay it on my arm, it seemed like he was really tired as he only moved a little before returning to the mangap.

I smiled as I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw him fall asleep again, “Love you” whispered me while kissing his forehead. It seems like I should be quite satisfied with just hugging her on our first night.

1 year later.

I walked quickly, my breath gasping with my heart beating crazily until I finally saw the people I knew now standing in a crowd in front of one of the rooms with anxious faces.

“Oh thank goodness you've come!” papah cried when he saw my arrival.

“Quick go inside, your wife is waiting for you from earlier.”

Without waiting any longer I went straight into the room with anxious feelings, inside I saw my wife lying on the bed with a large sweat of corn soaking her temples, and, a doctor and two nurses are helping her in the delivery process.

“Honey!” I cried while walking quickly to him, I immediately clasped his hand that held me back very firmly as if he was enduring a terrible pain.

“Oh, finally!” he looked at me with dirty eyes.

“I ran here as fast as I could.”

“Aaarrgghh!!” he groaned, his hands clutching me even harder, “Why are you running?” he asked with his breath still panting making me raise an eyebrow confused by his question.

“Take napaaas..” the doctor's order makes Keyza take another breath with a loophole through his mouth, “Push!”

“Aaarrgghh!” he groaned again while pushing according to the doctor's intervention.

“Because you want a lahiran,” I replied nervously because the doctor again told him to breathe and push.

“Should be...” he pulls and exhales quickly, “up the motor instead of RUNNING!! Aaarrrggg!!!”

Maybe if the situation wasn't in the maternity room with her not struggling to give birth, I would laugh at her, but I know that if I laugh now that there is she will pull my hair bald.

“I'm sorry, next time if you want to give birth again I will go into the delivery room while riding a motorbike and not park it outside.”

“Hahaha.”

The doctor and the sisters laughed at my words as well as her before she finally pushed back, this time the urge was so strong that the doctor exclaimed, “Come a little more! her hair is visible.”

“Bismilbornohmannirohim! Come on, Za, you can!”

“Aaarrgghhh!!”

And finally the sound of crying baby echoing in the room made me immediately give thanks Alhamdulillah while hugging and peeping her forehead.

“You are great, Za, very great.” She smiled weakly looking very tired, on the side of the room I saw the sisters cleaning our baby, wrapping it up with a blanket and handing it into the arms of the now-crying Mother should look at our newborn son into the world.

****

I stood in front of the glass surrounding the baby room, one side of my hand holding the shoulder of my wife who was in a wheelchair because she was still weak after giving birth a few hours ago.

“She looks like me,” I said proudly looking at the baby with a pointed nose, red lips, cheeks look adorable and her hair is thick black, she was asleep comfortably.

“Enak only, he looks more like me,” he said he did not want to lose.

“What looks like you is just the chubby cheeks, hahaha.”

“This is because I just gave birth!”

“Hahaha.”

I hugged him with one hand because I was anxious to see him sulking like that before finally my eyes looked back to the front where our baby was. God loves me so much, I now seem to have the whole world and its contents. How not, I have a wife who always supports and prays for me under all circumstances, and now God leaves a son where my blood flows in.

I never knew that the woman I met as a volunteer at the disaster site would be my wife in the future.

Back when we split up because of a misunderstanding, I didn't know that in the future we would be reunited and put together a beautiful story together.

Back when I had to leave her and get engaged to another woman, I thought it was the end of our relationship.

But now that we are both embracing each other looking to our future, the fruit of our love both.My heart ripples to look at my wife and my little son, as if God were whispering to me, “This is the time I grant all your prayers.”

Perhaps our prayers were not answered because our hearts were not ready.

Perhaps our prayers have not been answered because we still have much to learn about sincerity and patience.

Perhaps our prayers have not been answered because our love has not been so strong.

Perhaps our prayers were not answered because God wanted us both to learn to deal with all kinds of problems and to be strong in the future.

Perhaps our prayers have not been answered because it is not yet the time, and now may be the right time for God to grant our prayers.

For those of you whose prayers have not been answered, be patient. Keep praying and endeavoring, be assured that it is time that God will grant our prayers, and it will be much more beautiful.
