Guardians of the Heart #2
Chapter 34

“Not Yudha, if indeed Yudha Papah must have been given the news.”

I am currently contacting Papah to ask about the news of the shooting of one of the TNI members in Syria in an act of releasing hostages held by rebels.

“Papah sure?”

“Yes, you are calm again and the news is not necessarily true, we have not been able to get an official statement from the government so there is still a possibility if it is just a hoax.”

Well, I'm going to re-assure myself that they're all going back to the homeland in a state of good health, but still all day I really can't concentrate on work, my mind floated far away.

I called Papah back then, and like Papah, I still haven't heard anything.

“Papah had called Yudha's office, they have not been able to give any clarification,” said Papah made my body weak.

The news is increasingly confusing, some say only injured but some say can not be saved makes me not dare to watch the news on TV. I'm really freaked out if it's really the Lieutenant.

Nah! I can't be like this, I have to believe that the Lieutenant is fine and will come home to marry me. Yeah, she had to go home so she could marry me, hadn't she been expecting that? He had promised to return back into my arms, and didn't he say that a true man always kept his word? He had to go home to keep his promise.

After a day of great anxiety and fear, I was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief in a grateful cry when the next day Menkopolhukam gave a statement that no one was injured in yesterday other than the conditions the hostage victims are weak, the rest are fine including the TNI members on duty, so the news about the TNI members who were shot was not true.

The government said it would send them back home this afternoon after the hostage victims received treatment, which led me to return to the word of infinite gratitude.

Because of the incident of the liberation mission, the name of Indonesia was in the spotlight, especially Kopassus, which has been ranked 3rd in the world's elite forces under the British SAS and the American Navy SEALs, it now occupies the top position as the world's most reliable elite force.

Not only that the whole world seems to praise the results of Indonesian work that managed to release the hostages safely, the Japanese and French governments also officially say thank you. A proud smile adorned my face every time I saw the news considering the Lieutenant was involved in it all.

I want to run into her arms right now because of her pride and happiness because she has kept her promise to go home okay. But it seems like it should be postponed first.

“Assalamualaikum, my future wife.”

“Aaahhh!!! Mas Yudhaa!!” I immediately screamed when I heard her voice make her laugh.

“Hahaha. yes dear, but answer first the greetings.”

“Hehehe... wa’alaikumsalam, where is Mas Yudha? Already in Bandung? Mas Yudha not hurt?”

“Hahaha... This has just reached Cijantung mess so can contact you, and Alhamdulillah we are all fine, but... I have not been able to go back to Bandung.”.

My smile was instantly lost hearing his last words. The group from Syria just arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma at around 10 am which was greeted directly by Menhankam and several representatives from other governments who were covered directly by several television stations, even I had seen on TV the figure of the Lieutenant standing at the front with several other Kopassus aggota made me want to go into the screen to hug him.

“Why?”

“There are some reports that I need to finish first, and there is an invitation from the State Palace, all must attend.”

“Yeah...” heard that I was a little disappointed because for now I just want the Lieutenant to be mine not to share with anyone, including the President though!

“Don't frown, I'll finish the assignment here as soon as possible so I can quickly go home to pay my promise to marry you.”

I silently smiled hearing it.

“Do not long-long.. kangen.”.

“Until you want to bend?”

“Iya, hehe.”

“Kissing agents also do not?”

“Hehehe.

“Hold it a few more days, don't hug ma kiss tedy too.”

“Why?”

“Just hold it until I get home, let me hug ma kiss it long.”

“Dieh, Mas Yudha! If you want long mah must be legitimate first.”

“Hahahaha... yes already, I go home later ask Dad to call penghulu to be instantly disahin.”

“Hahaha.. Mas Yudha does not know what our parents have prepared.”

“Apaan?”

“They are ready all those who have not only stayed the same building invitation because they do not know the date.”

“Iya! Hahaha.”.

“You're the one who told them we want to get married?”

“Iya, sorry not permission Mas Yudha first, because at that time Mamah looked very worried so I told Mamah to let her mind slightly diverted from her favorite son who was on duty.”

“Hehe... You alone do not cry during my stay on duty?”

“Engga, I promised not to cry.”

“Pinter.”

“Hehe..”.

“Za?”

“Iya.”

“Za..”

“Iya..”

“Za..”

“Hahaha... Mas Yudha why? How to call doang.”

“Hehehe... I want to make sure that you will not change your mind again by allowing me to call you, Za.”

“Hehehe, insyaallah already steady, Mas.”

“Alhamdulillah, hehehe... I miss... miss calling you Za like you used to, miss when you could talk on the phone like this with you, miss sending messages until midnight like before without having to endure my affection and longing again.”

I smiled hearing it.

“I too.. I miss being combined with Mas Yudha as before.”

“Hahaha... I never dreaded, my love.”.

“Tow!”

“Thank what?”

“That's my love.”

“That's a call dear to you.”

“Alright Ranggaku.”

“Kok Rangga?”

“Cinta kan ma Rangga.”

“Hahaha... bentar, Za.” Mas Yudha seems to be talking to someone makes me wait a while, ”Halo, Za, not so call love deh to be called Mas Captain again.”

“Hehehe... if you want to be called Mas Captain call him Za aja.”

“Ok deh Za - yang.”

“Hahaha..”.

“Home from work?”

“Udah was home teng-go dikirain Mas Yudha want to come his year..”.

I didn't continue what I said and I knew the Lieutenant was smiling across the street and realized that I was sulking.

“Hinya... I did come.”.

Instantly I turned my body with round eyes when I saw the Lieutenant standing in the doorway towards the back porch with a big smile making me scream and immediately running into his arms which immediately lifted me up while laughing.
