Chapter 23
I could feel the lieutenant's body stiffen for a while before finally one of his hands hugged me gently.
“Why? Did something make you cry again?”
I nodded in his arms.
“Who?”
“Mas Yudha.”
“I?”
I nodded back.
“What do I do?”
The Lieutenant tried to keep my body away to look at my face but I hugged him even more tightly.
“Key, lastin first his embrace.”
I nodded and hugged him even more tightly.
“It's bad to look like someone else.”
“Biarin.”
The Lieutenant laughed at my reply.
“We go inside first.”
I nodded in agreement.
“Ya already released first, how would you like to go inside if you still hug gini.”
Not wanting to let go made me step on both feet immediately made him laugh crazily while hugging me.
“Ckk.. have a prospective wife spoiled, crybaby, Al alone lost nih.... if Al there must be a rebbutan ask for a replacement,” he said while walking with me on both feet, he said, his hands held me to keep me from falling.
“You sure you don't want to get off here?”
I saw we were in front of an open door.
“I'm not responsible if Dad and Mom see.”
Hearing that made me want to not come down and let go of the embrace made him laugh while ruffling my hair. I sat on the front porch and the Lieutenant sat beside me looking at me.
“So what have I done to make you cry?”
I'm crying because I miss you so much and want to hug you, want me to say it like I used to but.. for now I want our relationship to be the way it is now because I'm still afraid that if we go back to dating, I will be like Irene who will always bring up the mistakes in the past that finally make Arga feel tired with such a relationship, and for sure I want us to get to know our nature even more deeply.
“Why did Mas Yudha not tell me that it was my father who advised Mas Yudha to leave me and chose Widy?”
The Lieutenant looked a little surprised at my question.
“Dad told you?”
“Iya, mom too.”
“Key, they were just suggesting that the decision was finally on me.” The Lieutenant smiled slightly as he looked at me, “So don't get angry and blame them, ok?”
So for that reason the Lieutenant wouldn't tell me that my parents were involved in his decision to leave me? Because he doesn't want me to get angry and blame my parents? Oh God, why all this time I forgot that he wouldn't leave me for no reason, I was so stupid.

And I wouldn't know that all this time I was the top priority in the Lieutenant's life.I smiled at him who was also smiling at me.

“Me and Rey never kiss! Really!” I looked at him seriously who looked at me looking probing, “Time in the bamboo hamlet too it was the first time he kissed me, I was really shocked that time.”
The Lieutenant still stared at me.
