Chapters 8. Marrying

"What?!" exclaim Helena.

"Grandpa and Opa Alex want to match Helena with Axel? Why Grandpa? That's not possible. Axel already has a fiancee that he loves very much" asked Helena.

"Whatever Helena will do as long as Grandpa is willing to do the treatment in America" replied Helena.

Axel knocked on the door of his parents' second room. Before long his father, Zayn, opened the door. Zayn still gave the cold look to his son.

"Axel wants to apologize to Papa and Mama" Axel said.

Zayn took a long breath.

"Come in" Zayn ordered.

Axel immediately went into the room. Her mother, Aline, was sitting on the bed. Axel sat down next to his mother.

"Mama, Axel apologizes for hurting Mama's feelings. But you know Axel loves Icha. How could Axel possibly marry another woman?" axel.

"When are you going to wait for the dead? And how long will you live in hatred and vengeance?" ask Aline.

Axel's speechless.

"Mama misses Mama's old son, who is warm and affectionate."

"What conditions do you give?" ask Zayn.

"Axel will marry Helena on condition that no one ever meddles in Axel's domestic affairs later," Axel replied.

"Papa and Mama will fulfill your request, as long as you don't hurt Helena" Zayn said.

"Mama agrees with your father. We will not interfere in your household affairs" Aline said.

"Thank you Papa, Mama" Axel said.

Aline is so happy. He immediately hugged his beloved son.

The Hermawan family welcomed the happy arrival of the Alvaro and Hadinata families. Today Axel and Helena will do a qobul ijab which will tie the two human children into a husband and wife. Helena's face immediately blushed. Jasmine and Hans could not help but laugh.

"Hans, already. Don't you seduce your brother like that" exclaimed Narendra.

"Let's go. Daddy's gonna take you. Daddy is praying that this will be your last marriage and that you will always be happy" Narendra said.

"Thank you, Daddy," Helena said, hugging her father.

The bride-to-be entered the room. Everyone there was stunned to see Helena's beauty, except Axel. Because Axel did not look at Helena in the slightest. Helena and Jasmine sat on the bed.

I hope that Big Brother can make my brother come back the way he was. I miss Brother Axel so much, I miss my brother's affection" Jasmine said in tears.

Helena immediately hugged Jasmine to calm her down.

"Sister can't promise, Jasmine. But big brother will try to make Axel back to what he used to be. You help with prayer, dear" said Helena calming.

Jasmine smiled as she nodded her head. After quite a long conversation, Jasmine immediately walked out of Helena's room, so that Helena could rest. Jasmine walks through the park and she crosses paths with her older sister, Axel.

"Are you satisfied now? Helena is already your sister-in-law? You are happy to see me suffer" Axel said in a satirical tone.

Actually Jasmine was reluctant to fight with her brother, let alone on this happy day.

"Yes, I'm very happy. I got a kind brother-in-law. Not an enigmatic woman" Jasmine said with a faint smile.

Axel advanced his body towards Jasmine.

"Don't expect you'll see her happily married to me. I'll make him suffer" whispered Axel, then waltzed away leaving Jasmine just like that.

"I know, brother, what's in your brain. But I won't let all your evil plans succeed. I'll prove that the woman you love is nothing more than trash. And when you find out, I hope that Helena is still next to you" Jasmine muttered.

On the night of the wedding party Axel and Helena held very luxurious and festive, much different from the wedding Helena used to be with Marco. Axel and Helena look like kings and queens who are very handsome and beautiful. Both look very harmonious. Helena tried to smile happily, even though her husband was always cold to her. Even Axel did not invite him to speak at all.

"The letter of agreement states that our marriage will only last for 6 months. Just so you know, I married you just because I wanted to return the kindness of your family to me and my Mama. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have married you" Axel said.

Helena's heart felt pierced. She squeezed her dress. Helena sighed slowly to keep herself calm.

"And one more thing. Never expect love from me. Because at any time, my love is only for Marissa," Axel said.
