Forced to Marry My (Small) Friend

Season 2's. Jasmine and her Love Story 37 (Heart Expressions)

"How are you?" ask Yudistira.

"My news is good, Mas. Yudi himself how is he doing?" Vira asked back.

"Of course it's good. If it's not good, how could I possibly come here to see you." Answer Yudistira.

Vira's face began to blush. Vira immediately lowered her face in embarrassment. The two are currently sitting on the front porch of a rented house that Alvaro's family had prepared for them during Vira's hospital stay.

Silence enveloped both.

"Are you ready to take the high school entrance exam in nursing?" ask Yudistira.

"Alhamdulillah is already Mas. I just finished tidying up the book I used to study" replied Vira.

Yudishthira is just a beard. While Vira often lowered her face with a heart that pounded unbecoming. Yudhishthira threw out his rough breath.

"I'm not a pleasant-nonsense guy, so I'm straight to the point" Yudistira exclaimed.

Vira immediately gasped and looked towards Yudishthira. "What do you mean by Yudi?"

"Will you marry me?" ask Yudistira loudly.

"Huh? Whahuh? Married married?" Vira was very surprised and felt like he had a heart attack.

"Yes married. Maybe it seems sudden and rushed, but I can't hold it anymore. Listen to me carefully. I will never forbid you from achieving what you have been telling me all this time. After marriage you can continue your education and become a nurse. And one more thing, I won't demand you to give me a child right away. We can postpone it until you finish your education" Yudistira said at length without pause.

Vira was silent with wide eyes and a slightly gaping mouth. Yudishthira breathed with her heart still pounding. It's not easy for him to say all that.

"I-I'm sorry," said Yudistira softly.

Vira also woke up and became misbehaved. Vira touched his chest and tried to catch his breath slowly so that he became calm. Vira looked up at Yudishthira.

"Why would you do all that? I'm a girl of bad luck, but that doesn't mean I want to be pitied. I knew Mas Yudi was a good man and Mas Yudi didn't need to do any of that, marrying me out of pity. A lot of good and still clean women out there are more deserving of Mas Yudi" Vira said, holding tightness in her chest.

Yudistira's heart felt pinched. He realizes that he is so out of control that he ignores Vira's feelings and puts her under pressure.

"I'm sorry Vira. I was too excited, so I subconsciously ignored your feelings. I don't even know how you feel about me. Moreover, my age is much older than yours," Yudistira said slightly chuckling.

Vira was silent.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you depressed like this. It was too fast and sudden. I just want you to know that I want to marry you not out of pity, but out of the will of my heart. I want you not to be another woman. I don't care about your past. To me you are a good woman and deserve to be loved" she added.

Vira rounded his eyes and looked into the eyes of Yudhishthira closely. Vira didn't see the lie there, but a seriousness. Vira was happy to hear all the confessions of Yudhishthira, but Vira was self-conscious if she was not worthy of a man as good as Yudhishthira.

"I won't demand you to give an answer right now. I'll give you some time to think. I'm not gonna force you, Vira. Whatever your answer and decision will be, I will take it with a spacious heart" Yudistira said.

Vira remained silent and did not answer. Yudhishthira stood up from his seat.

"Next week I will go to America and stay there for a long time" Yudistira said.

Vira widened her eyes.

"How long?" vira asked with slightly trembling lips.

"How long I don't know for sure. I will continue my S2 education there and become the assistant of Miss Jasmine and Mr. Evan during their stay there. That's why I ventured to reveal my heart to you. I want to take you with me." replied Yudishthira.

"I apologize again for my selfishness. I'm going first. Assalamualaikum."

"Wa-waalaikumsalam," replied Vira while holding back her tears that were about to fall.

Vira stared at the departure of Yudhishthira. After Yudhishthira left, Vira went straight into the house and did not forget to lock the door. Vira ran into her room and shed her tears there.

"Why does my heart ache knowing that Mas Yudi is leaving, O Lord?" he sighed while sobbing.

Vira's hand touched her chest that hurt. Vira dropped her body on the bed and continued to cry.

Elsewhere, Pramudya had to fight hard to get Alvaro Group's cooperation contract with clients from Norway. Pramudya is grateful he can speak English, so he can explain the program proposed by the Alvaro Group well. While Axel, William and Darren just silence while paying attention to the presentation delivered by Pramudya.

Mr. Smith did not answer Pramudya's question and instead looked towards Axel.

"Where did Mr Axel get a guy like him?" mr. Smith asked in German and Pramudya did not understand.

"Is there a problem, sir?" Axel asked back.

"Of course not. I am willing to trade this contract of cooperation with him" replied Mr Smith.

"Unfortunately our company cannot accept your offer, Sir," Axel declined with a smile.

Mr. Smith laughed. "It is fitting that the Alvaro Group can progress so much because you have extraordinary people."

"So, are you going to approve our cooperation plan or not?" axel asked with a smile.

"Only a fool misses this golden opportunity" replied Mr. Smith while signing the cooperation contract.

Pramudya is very happy finally he managed to complete the challenge given by Axel. But he tried to hold it. Mr. Smith shook hands with Axel, William and Darren. Last time he shook Pramudya's hand.

"If one day the Alvaro Group doesn't need you anymore, you can come to me. My company's doors are wide open for you" Mr Smith said in English.

"Hah," cried Pramudya confused.

Then Parmudya could only smile to cover his shock.

"It's very good Pram. You did very well. Tomorrow morning, meet me at the Alvaro Group" Axel said.

"Good, Sir. Thank you very much. I'll definitely see you in the morning. Once again thank you, sir," Pramudya said with a happy heart.

Axel just nodded with a smile.

"Don't you want to know what position you'll be in?" ask Darren.

Pramudya shook his head with a smile.

"No, Mister. Whatever position Mr. Axel will give, I will accept it" Pramudya replied.

"Until we meet again tomorrow morning, Pram," Axel said, then left the restaurant with William and Darren.

"Thank God, I finally got a job. I must go home immediately and tell this good news to Vira and Nabila," muttered Pramudya as he walked away from the restaurant excitedly.
