Chapter 52's. I'll Be Responsible

Patrick and Marissa meet the Princess at Alvaro headquarters with strict assistance from Rino. The princess was crying in her room. Bella's words earlier were very painful. Since childhood, he always craved the affection of a mother who never expected his presence.

Princess smile.

"You don't have to thank me. I should have done it" replied the Princess.

The princess touched Marissa's face to the left and saw the burn scars that were there.

"I'm sorry that I didn't manage to bring you the medicine that night" the princess said with tears in her eyes.

Marissa smiled.

"It's okay, Put. You've been trying. I'm sorry because of me, you were beaten by your mother" Marissa replied.

Marissa smiled bitterly. She remembers how her mother, Bella, was furious that she had helped Marissa escape. The mood suddenly quiet.

"wait. How can you be familiar? Isn't she a bad woman like her mother?" patrick asked, breaking the silence.

"When Madam Bella held me back, the Princess always stole the opportunity to see me. He became my friend in the captive quarters. The princess also always fed me and took my medicine. The bad one is Madam Bella, not the Princess" Marissa said.

The princess breathed.

"I owe you an apology, Patrick. Because twice you almost lost your life because of me and my Mama's evil plan" said the Princess.

Patrick remained silent. He still could not trust the Princess completely. Rino only gives time to visit Putru for 30 minutes.

"Pat, I beg you not to put the Princess in prison" asked Marissa.

"Even though I didn't press charges against him, Alvaro's family must have done it anyway. Never mind, let the court rule that he is guilty or not" replied Patrick.

Marissa's heart was sad because she couldn't help the Princess. They returned to the Alvaro mansion.

Three days later, two representatives from the California police force came to bring Bella and Princess back to America to account for their actions. Alvaro's men keep them under control. Frans will also be accompanying his son.

While exiting Alvaro's base, Bella attempts to escape. Bella bites the hand of one of Alvaro's men and breaks away. Bella ran away.

The members of the Alvaro family, especially Zayn and Axel were shocked.

Dorr! (heard gunshots)

One of the policemen took his gun and shot Bella in the right leg.

"Aarr!!!" scream Bella.

"Mama!" shouting Princess.

The princess wanted to run at her mother, but Alvaro's men held her back.

Bella who was moaning in pain was immediately taken to the hospital with strict supervision. The princess felt her head dizzy, and soon she fell unconscious.

"Daughter," cried Frans near his daughter.

"Don't be fooled, it must be just his cunning plan" Axel said.

"Before my husband, let me check first" Helena said.

"No dear, he's dangerous. I don't want that woman to hurt you and that triplet in your womb" Axel said.

"I beg. He is a human, after all. As a doctor I have to help him, be it a good person or not" Helena pleaded.

Axel doesn't ban Helena anymore. Helena immediately checked the Princess' pulse. Her eyes widened. Then Helena checked her own pulse.

"He really fainted. We'd better take her to the hospital" Helena said.

Helena looked at her husband's face with clinging.

Axel pulled Helena into his arms.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Bella and Putri immediately get treatment. Doctors and nurses were trying to remove the bullet and cover the wound.

The princess has been moved to an inpatient room. Slowly he opened his eyes and felt his head still dizzy.

"Son, are you human? Thank God," Frans said a little screamed.

Axel and Helena immediately entered the room with the doctor.

"How do you feel, Miss?" ask the doctor about the hijab.

"My head hurts a lot and my body is limp, doctor" replied the Princess.

"You're too stressed. Please always take care of your health, mindset and feelings. Because you're pregnant right now" the doctor said.

The princess and Frans widened her eyes in shock.

"I mean the doctor there's a baby in my stomach?" ask the princess not to believe it.

"Yes Miss. When viewed from the results of the USG, your gestational age is 10 weeks," replied the doctor.

The princess stroked her flat stomach.

"Tell Helena, Princess. Tell me I'm not the baby's father!" snapped Axel.

The princess looked at Axel fixedly, then turned to look at Helena.

"What Axel said was right, Helena. Axel is not the father of my baby. Axel never touched me" replied the Princess.

Helena breathed a sigh of relief.

"I don't know Pa. I was afraid that I would be a cruel mother like Mama because I had a child without knowing who her father was" she said.

The princess smiled bitterly.

"But I'm afraid I'm going to make him suffer like I used to, because I don't know who his father is" she said.

"Maybe I'll drop it" he continued.

Axel, Helena, Princess and Frans looked towards the door.
