Chapters 78. The Little Angels

The bright morning was inversely proportional to the aura emitted by Axel at this moment. Axel continued to wipe the back of Helena who was lying on the bed with an intravenous needle stuck in one of her hands. The look of expression, tense, afraid and worried mixed into one on Axel's face. Both are currently in the VVIP Hospital.

"Ssttt... shsttt..," was heard Helena's groaning.

Since yesterday Helena has been contracting in her stomach. Helena thought it was just a false contraction as usual, but at night the intensity of her contract grew more frequent and it hurt more and more. So Axel immediately took his wife to the hospital. Mr. Zayn and Mrs Aline also went to the hospital to accompany them.

"Why hasn't the doctor arrived yet?" ask Axel emotions.

Axel could not bear to see the face of Helena who was enduring the pain.

"Calm down, kid. The doctor must still be on his way" said Mrs Aline calming.

Madam Aline rubbed her daughter-in-law's stomach gently.

The door of the room was knocked and opened slowly, Reymond entered the room. Axel stood up.

"Rey. Where's doctor? Tell him to come quickly!" axel yelled in frustration.

"Axel! Calm yourself!" snarled Mr. Zayn.

Axel is trying to control his emotions.

"Doctor Maya is sick. He can't come here. But Aisya's doctor has already contacted another obstetrician. His name is Doctor Zahra, and soon he will come" Reymond said.

Axel is putting on his rough hair. Reymond approached.

"Calm Axel. Don't be tense and upset like this" Reymond said slowly.

"How can I not strain Rey, when I see my wife in such pain" Axel said.

Reymond took a long breath.

"This is one of the processes that must be passed by a mother who will give birth" said Reymond.

"I'm afraid of Rey. Helena's surgery schedule should be 1 week away" Axel said anxiously.

"You don't have to be afraid. Helena's gestational age has entered the ninth month, and it does not matter if you have to give birth sooner than the scheduled date. Looks like your three kids can't wait to see their Daddy and Mommy soon. You have to be an encouragement and a strength to Helena. Make Helena always feel calm and comfortable. Don't let Helena get stressed, she needs to relax" Reymond said.

Axel nodded as well.

"Xel," call Helena.

Axel immediately sat back next to Helena and rubbed his wife's back again. Helena turned her head and looked at Axel.

"You don't have to worry, me and the baby triplets will be fine" Helena said, insisting on her smile.

"I'm sorry, baby. I should be able to be a strength to you and calm you down, instead of being silly like that," Axel said with tears in his eyes.

Helena wiped away the tears on her husband's face. Axel held Helena's hand and kissed her.

Enter doctor Narita and a female doctor who is the same age as Mrs Aline, the doctor Zahra, with two nurses.

"Assalamualaikum" said Narita.

"Waalaikumsalam," replied Axel and the others.

"Did you know, this is doctor Zahra. The doctor who replaced Maya to examine Helena's womb" said Narita.

"Please see my wife's doctor" Axel said.

Doctor Zahra walked over.

"Excuse me Madam, I'll check on your condition" Zahra said.

Helena simply nodded while enduring the pain.

Doctor Zahra immediately checked Helena's condition and her womb. Doctor Zahra frowned.

"Sorry before. I beg doctors Reymond and Mr. Zaidan to wait outside first" Zahra said.

Mr. Zayn and Reymond immediately walked out of the room.

Doctor Zahra wears her medical gloves.

"Please lift both your legs and open wide, yes" said Dr. Zahra.

Helena followed Zahra's orders. Axel widened his eyes as Zahra's doctor was about to do something in Helena's sensitive area.

"Wait doctor. What do you want to do with my wife?" ask Axel.

"Axel quiet. Doctor Zahra is doing his job. He's not gonna hurt Helena. If you want to interrupt, you better wait outside with your Papa, "doctor Narita was upset.

"No Oma. Axel wants to be here. Sorry doctor, please continue," said Axel with a resigned face.

Doctor Zahra immediately did an internal examination.

"Mrs Helena has opened 4. We have to have surgery right away, Doctor Narita," said Zahra.

Doctor Narita nodded and asked the nurse to prepare the operating room.

Although Helena tried to relax, she still felt worry because this was her first time giving birth.

"Darling, you don't have to worry. I will always be with you" Axel said.

Helena nodded and smiled.

"Yes dear. You are calm and pray a lot. Mama will also pray for you" said Mrs Aline.

Outside the room, there is already a large family of Alvaro, Mr. Haris and Mrs Sasmitha. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Narendra and Mrs Charlotte arrived at the hospital. The two soon flew in from Paris when they heard Helena was contracting and was expected to give birth sooner than scheduled.

The nurse pushes Helena out of the room with Axel and Aline. All the family members stood up. Mr. Narendra and Mrs Charlotte immediately approached their daughter.

"Daddy, Mommy," called Helena while crying.

Helena is so happy that her parents have arrived. Lady Charlotte kissed her daughter's forehead.

"Mommy and Daddy are here baby. You have nothing to fear, we will all wait and pray for you" Charlotte said, clasping Helena's hand.

"Yes Mom. Thank you," said Helena.

Helena was taken into the operating room. Dr. Zahra himself will perform the operation with two doctors and accompanied by several nurses. The nurse immediately gave her an epidural injection. Before the operation began, doctors and nurses prayed first.

Axel was faithfully beside Helena. Axel kept praying and whispering it in his wife's ear.

"Oeekk... ooeekkk.

"Congratulations, your first baby is a boy" Zahra said, then gave the baby to the nurse to clean up.

Alex and Helena smiled happily.

5 Minutes later.

"Oeekk.

"The second baby is also a boy" cried Zahra again.

Axel could not stem his tears when he saw the two babies still covered in blood.

For the third baby, the doctors had little trouble getting it out because his body and neck were wrapped around the umbilical cord.

"What's the doctor? Why hasn't our third baby come out yet?" asked Axel who was starting to get anxious because his third baby did not come out immediately like the two previous babies.

"Calm Mister. Your third baby is wrapped around the umbilical cord, the doctors are trying to get it out" replied one of the nurses.

Axel's face became tense after hearing the nurse's words, but he tried to calm down so that Helena would not panic.

"Please baby, our third baby is still reluctant to come out of Mommy's stomach" Axel said with a smile.

Helena nodded and smiled.

After nearly 20 minutes, Zahra's doctor managed to safely remove Axel and Helena's third baby.

"Oeekkk... Ooeekk..," heard a very loud cry from the third baby.

The sound of the third baby's cry was the loudest compared to the two brothers earlier.

"Happy third baby girl" cried Dr. Zahra.

"Alhamdulillah. Finally our three babies have been born safely dear. Happy El-ku dear, you are already a mother now," said Axel while kissing Helena's forehead with tears that continue to decompose.

"Alhamdulillah. Congratulations to you, Xel, you've become a father" Helena said with a happy cry.

The nurse brought the three babies closer so Axel and Helena could see their baby, before being taken to the nursery.

"Once again I congratulate you. Your baby is very handsome and beautiful inherits the good looks and beauty of both parents" said Dr. Zahra.

"Thank you so much doctor" Axel said.

"Thank you doctor" said Helena.

"Assalamualaikum, the little angels Daddy and Mommy," Axel said to the three babies.

Axel and Helena looked at their three babies one by one with happy smiles. Then the three babies were taken to the baby's room and Helena still had to undergo the suturing process on her stomach.

Axel immediately came out to tell the happy news of the birth of his three children to all family members. Happy cries mixed to decorate the waiting room in front of the operating room.
