Chaptre 49. Recognition

"What do you want now? Are you going to kill me?" ask Bella cynically.

"We are not angels of life. If you die right away, it's too light a punishment for you" Axel replied with a cold look.

Bella looked at Axel fixedly, then smiled obliquely.

"You should have been born from my womb, Axel. You're the child I've always hoped for, not the unlucky child like him" Bella said, pointing at the Princess.

"So talk! I wouldn't have been born to a woman j****g like you!" snapped Axel.

"Why did Mama say such a cruel thing? What's my fault, Ma? Why did you never love me?" ask the Princess while sobbing.

Bella laughed like a madman. Helena held Axel's hand tightly.

"Are you okay, baby?" ask Axel lirih.

Helena nodded.

"You want to know why I never loved you" Bella said.

Frans turned his gaze towards the crying Princess while looking down. There was a great longing from his gaze. Her heart ached when she saw her son crying and getting hurt.

"What do you see Frans?" bella asked in a mocking tone.

Frans turned his eyes again and looked at Bella.

"Why are you doing all this Bella? If you want to be angry, be angry with me. I admit I was wrong for not believing that the fetus you were carrying at that time was my son" Frans said.

Bella smiled cynically.

"If you don't love the Princess, why don't you give it to me when I come and beg you? Why Bella?" asked Frans in a snapping tone.

Frans approached his son.

"When I had to fight for his life you didn't have Frans. You dumped me like shit. And I kept it with me so I could get into the Alvaro family. If I can't go in as the wife of a Zaidan Maliq Alvaro, at least I can go in as a Zaidan Maliq Alvaro. "What was your purpose in coming into the Dawson family? And using Marissa's identity?" ask Patrick.

Bella chuckles.

The members of the Alvaro family just silently watched the drama that was in front of their eyes. And even more laughably, Rino sat down and watched it while eating nuts and drinking soft drinks.

"Yes. I admit everything. Then what are you going to do now?" bella answered with her relaxed face.

Bella kept laughing.

"If you want to kill me, go ahead. I don't give a shit. I don't regret everything I've done. I'm glad to see you suffer. Ha...ha.ha ...," said Bella.

"Dead is too light for you. You will be sent to America and handed over to the California police to account for your evil deeds" Axel said.

Bella stopped laughing.

"No! Just kill me. I don't want to go to jail and suffer there" Bella said.

"We are not a court. So don't accept rebuttal" Axel said with a cold look.

Bella clasped her hands tightly. He hoped to die at the hands of the Alvaro family, so that later the Alvaro family and their descendants would bear the sin of being murderers.

"Thank you" said Frans.

"May I accompany my daughter in her room?" ask Frans.

"Sorry Mr. Frans, I don't allow it. But you can visit him at lunch and dinner" Axel replied.

Frans nodded. Although he was a little disappointed that he could not accompany his daughter, he was still grateful that at least Young Master Alvaro would still allow him to visit his son.

Zayn and his family are out of Avlvaro's headquarters, including Patrick and Frans. They return to the Alvaro mansion, except Frans who returns to his parents' old house in Indonesia to meet his wife.

"Patrick," called out to Jasmine as they arrived at Alvaro's mansion.

"Yes, Miss" replied Patrick.

"Follow me. Someone wants to meet you," exclaimed Jasmine.

Patrick complies and follows Jasmine's steps towards the park.

"The woman wants to see you" Jasmine said, pointing to a woman standing behind her back.

Patrick walked over to the woman, while Jasmine had already sauntered away leaving the two of them.

"Excuse me, Miss. Do you really want to meet me?" ask Patrick kindly.

The woman turned her body and smiled.

"You-you? Marissa?" exclaiming Patrick.

"Yes, I'm Marissa. Do you still recognize me, Patrick?" answer the woman.

Patrick couldn't believe what he was seeing right now. Now right in front of him stood the beautiful woman he had always missed all this time. Patrick shed tears.

"Of course, I'll always recognize you, my Marissa," Patrick said.

Patrick pulls Marissa's body into his arms.

"I miss you, Marissaku," said Patrick, weeping and blissful.

"I miss you too, my Patrick," Marissa replied.
