Evan had already arrived at the restaurant where the meeting with Michelle was held. Evan looked at Michelle already coming and stirred up his drink with a pouting face. Evan had arrived very late.

"Michelle," said Evan.

"Oh, O Evan," said Michelle with a sparkling face.

"I'm sorry I came late, there's still business to be done earlier," Evan said casually.

"It's OK. I just came, too" replied Michelle. "Why did you come alone? Where is Jasmine? Mm...Are you guys still fighting?"

Evan smiled lazily while nodding slowly.

"I'm sorry, Evan. Because of me, Jasmine's been misunderstood."

Michelle showed a look of sadness in front of Evan, but in reality her heart was very happy at the moment. Michelle gently touches Evan's hand, upsetting him but trying to hold him back.

"If you need a friend to tell you a story and share a problem, I'm ready for Evan. Whenever you need me, I'll always be there for you."

Evan immediately withdrew his hand, making Michelle's smile slightly evaporate.

"Thank you, Michelle. I know you're a really good friend" Evan said.

Michelle's happy smile instantly re-emerged on her lips.

"Don't you say Mr. Thompson will also attend this meeting? Where is he?" ask Evan.

"Oh yeah. My dad is still on his way, coming soon, too" replied Michelle. "Do you want to drink something?"

Michelle was about to call the restaurant waiter.

"no need. I've brought my own drinking water" Evan said, putting a bottle of mineral water on the table.

Michelle was surprised.

"I'm used to drinking mineral water. And wherever I go, I always carry mineral water like this" Evan said, opening the sealed bottle and drinking it.

A waiter came and gave Evan an empty glass.

"Michelle," called the middle-aged man who had just arrived and walked over to Michelle and Evan's table.

"Daddy," cried Michelle.

"Thank God Daddy's here. Meet Dad, this is Evan, CEO of Javander Architecture."

"Evans."

"Thompson."

"I'm married" replied Evan.

"Your wife must be very lucky to have married you" Mr Thompson said in a sneering tone.

"Quite the contrary. I'm the luckiest because God has destined Jasmine, the wonderful woman to be with me" Evan said proudly.

Michelle was visibly annoyed to hear Evan praising Jasmine in front of her.

"Then where is your wife now? Why isn't he accompanying you?" ask Mr. Thompson.

Evan sighed. "Jasmine is not coming. He's home now."

"How come? What have you done, baby?" ask Mr. Thompson.

"A few days ago, I had a disaster. My head was hit by the nameplate of the restaurant that fell. A kind Evan helped me and took me to the campus clinic. There we accidentally met Jasmine. Jasmine misunderstood, and then there was a fight between them."

"I really feel guilty, Dad," Michelle said.

"Oh, sweety. It's not a pure misunderstanding. Don't grieve over a mistake you didn't make" Mr. Thompson said, hugging Michelle.

"Currently, I'm sick and sick of seeing this drama" Evan said as he looked to the side.

Evan's gaze was fixed on the figure of an angel who had filled the entire space in his heart. Yups, Jasmine also came to that restaurant. He sat at one of the tables in the corner of the restaurant with Helena. Jasmine rolled her right eye while smiling sweetly, then gave a distant smile to Evan. Evan's heart was immediately flowery.

"Sweetness my sunshine. If it wasn't for me acting, if it wasn't for us being in a public place, and again if it wasn't for the baby twins in her stomach, for sure right now I won't let my Jasmine get off our battle bed, not one bit."

Evan's face looked pined.

"Hei boy's. Why does your face look sad? Don't be a weak man just because of a woman. Your wife should understand what a professional job is. What happened between you and Michelle is just help each other out. To be the wife of a great man like you, she should have a high level of intelligence, not her level of jealousy" Mr. Thompson said.

Evan's blood instantly boiled upon hearing Mr. Thompson humbling his wife. Evan immediately held the glass in front of him and was about to throw it in Mr. Thompson's face.

"Gat!" the cry of someone whose voice Evan already knew so well.

Evan also undoes his evil intentions.

"Sister has come" said Evan with a smile.

Axel walked gallantly towards Evan, leaving Michelle stunned. Axel sat down on the chair beside Evan.

"W-who's this, Evan?" ask Michelle.

"Sister, this is Mr. Thompson, owner of Thomson Corp. And next to him was his daughter, Michelle Thompson."

Mr. Thompson and Michelle smiled.

"Why does Evan call him brother? Is she Evan's brother?" Michelle wondered in her heart.

"Mr Thompson and Michelle, meet Mr. Axello Zyan Alvaro."

"Alvaro?!" exclaim Mr. Thompson.

"True sir, he is the CEO of Alvaro Group" Evan replied.

Mr. Thompson and Michelle are wide-eyed.

"It's nice to meet you Mr. Alvaro" said Mr. Thompson with a glowing face and extended his hand.

And Michelle as well. There was no stopping him admiring Axel's handsome face.

"It's nice to meet you too, Mr. Thompson," Axel replied as he shook Mr. Thompson's hand.
