Interim CEO

"Today I'd like to introduce your new CEO" Damien opened the BLUE CORP leadership meeting.

"Michael Wiji Sasongko will serve as interim CEO." Silent room.

Since seeing Mike next to the President, some people have expected President Damien's son to start working at the central BLUE CORP. But many do not expect that he will immediately serve as CEO.

"Regarding the reshuffle of the positions of several employees that I previously handled, will be continued by CEO Michael Wiji Sasongko." Damien.

"I invite the new CEO to give a welcome and introduction." Damien ended his share.

"Good morning. I previously handled the Mall network owned by BLUE CORP. I really look forward to your cooperation in the development of our company at this headquarters."

The applause sounded boisterous. Although the applause began from Damien who felt proud to hear the words of his son's welcome.

"Next I want to have a limited meeting with the directors and representatives of the person in charge of every brand that we have. For those who are not interested please return to continue the work of the father/mother at their respective work." Mike ended his speech and broke up the meeting.

After the group of deputy directors and each section chief left the meeting room, only a small part remained in the room. Damien also returned to his study.

Mike looked at the Directors whose faces were quite familiar to Mike. The most familiar is Verlita. Director of IT BLUE CORP. But the two directors on Verlita's right and left also attracted Mike's attention.

"I would like to hear a brief report from all of you without exception. But the most I want to hear is from the Marketing Director of the Mall which houses the entire Mall under BLUE CORP." Mike turned his gaze to the man on Verlita's right.

Mike observed every review and body language of this very young Marketing Director. He was even younger than Verlita. Mike also hears that Verlita has a relationship with this man.

Director Ferdy ended his review well. Mike was amazed by his intelligence in delivering important points that must be conveyed along with a brief explanation. Mike is satisfied with the performance of Director Ferdy who is very young.

"Thank you director. Next I'll send it to the only woman in this room, Director Verli." Mike accidentally called Verli like Bima.

As expected Mike, Verlita was surprised to be called so. The one who once called himself Verli was only Bima. Verlita felt this was no coincidence.

Verlita was stunned by Mike's words.

Many of the men in the room had been admiring Verlita's bright and beautiful figure. They whispered to each other and did not expect the new CEO would treat Verlita like this. Many suspect CEO Mike is one of Verlita's dumped admirers or admirers who played hard at the beginning to get Verlita's warm embrace.

Mike enjoys lunchtime by closing his eyes for a moment on the CEO's couch. Mike closed his eyes as if sleeping. But actually he was thinking about every exposure and awkwardness in the meeting room earlier.

He has got two people who need his special attention. As Aldi estimates, there are still important people behind the scenes that Aldi has not found. He was none other than Director Ferdy or Director Hasan.

As Mike wanted to further compare the two, Aldi called.

"How's the situation there?" Aldi went straight to the point as usual.

"As you may guess. BLUE CORP is still not completely clean."

"Have you predicted the culprit?"

"There were two candidates. I just wanted to call you for a background check."

"good. Send the data you have to Daniel. Let him handle it immediately."

"Yes. I'll send you the CV of the company containing the two young men." Mike speaks formal and sounds professional. Unlike all this time when talking to Aldi which is full of many jokes.

Aldi is aware of this. Usually Aldi will end his phone call after his needs are delivered. But now Aldi is waiting for something else Mike might want to say.

"What about Bima? Verlita was immediately wrong when I called Verli."

"He's still trying hard to overcome the crisis I've created. Soon she'll feel like she's winning because she can handle it." Aldi laughed at the reaction of Bima who felt victorious when increasingly falling.

"You set up a layered trap, Al?"

"You understand me very well, Mike." Aldi laughed again.

"I can't wait to hear the details. You'll find out for yourself this afternoon. Just wait for this to be a warm conversation among BLUE CORP business colleagues." Aldi ended his sentence with a laugh.

"I can't wait to hear that news coming."

"Patience, Mike. Yes already. I still haven't called Kiara and checked her condition." With that sentence, Aldi's phone was cut off.

Mike was just dumbstruck staring at the screen of his phone which ended his call unilaterally by Aldi.
