Goodbye to the past

Kiara parted ways with Aldi after lunch at the food court Mall. Aldi had to go back to the office, there was something sudden that had to be done.

"You continued shopping by yourself. I have to go back." Aldi said goodbye to Kiara after receiving a phone call. Aldi's face looked tense. Kiara was sure something was going on in her office. Their original plan of shopping together until the end had to continue with only Kiara shopping alone.

Aldi pulled out the car keys and handed them to Kiara. "You're using my car. Shopping a lot as you please"

"How did you go to his office?" Kiara was actually reluctant to be told to bring Aldi's car. But Kiara has not found a reason to refuse. Aldi's car is also matic. So Kiara can obviously drive it.

"Some one picked me up." Aldi did not wait for Kiara's reply or rejection. Aldi was in a hurry to leave immediately.

Kiara ended up shopping at the department store inside the mall alone. Most are purchased only packaged food ingredients along with fish, meat, vegetables and fruits. Kiara bought a wide variety of kitchen needs, but the amount that Kiara bought was deliberately limited to only a few. Just enough as a stock if at any time it takes. Kiara was worried about the trouble of bringing her home. Kiara usually spends a lot only when there is a friend. But this is a special situation. Kiara who is now a housewife must arrange the house well. Food ingredients that are mandatory and essential must be purchased Kiara.

After shopping for groceries, Kiara continued to look at the equipment for home needs. Most of what Kiara noticed was only for kitchen utensils. Life-saving Kiara thrashed to see the price of electronic devices per-kitchens such as air fryer, oven, food processor and juicer in the Mall. At Aldi's house there is only a microwave and toaster bread. Aldi seems to rarely function the kitchen. Maybe Aldi eats out a lot. From the groceries Kiara found in the kitchen this morning, it looks like Aldi ate at home only when breakfast.

Kiara herself already has most of the desired electronic kitchen equipment in her apartment. So Kiara decided to go to her apartment just to pick up her things. His desire to shop was gone.

But since Kiara plans to go to her old apartment to pick up things, Kiara delays buying everything she wants. It is better to take advantage of what Kiara already has in the apartment. After all, it was all bought from money as a result of working so far. Not bought by Bima.

Kiara is now on her way to her old apartment alone. The car used by Aldi is more expensive than Kiara used so far. This car is hatchback. There are only four seats in this car. Just like the car from Bima, so the small size makes Kiara not difficult to drive it. But what Kiara doesn't like is the color of her car. Aldi's car is black. Kiara is a bit less fond of cars with black color. Kiara prefers white or red cars. But even though the car from Bima is pink, Kiara tried not to show her dislike of the color of the car first.

Kiara did not say goodbye to Aldi or tell him if she was going to her old apartment. Kiara is worried that Aldi will be disturbed, it looks like Aldi's departure was for important business.

Once at the apartment, Kiara packed her clothes first. Kiara clothes are not much, all clothes can be quite put in 2 suitcases measuring 30 inches and 18 inches. Kiara once needed to buy a suitcase to go out of town with Bima.

Several times Bima had invited Kiara to take her annual leave to just spend time together away from the noise of the city of Jakarta. They have been to Bali, Lombok and Jogjakarta. Bima wanted to take her abroad. But Kiara refused for a variety of reasonable reasons. Kiara is reluctant to travel too far. Toh Kiara himself has never traveled to explore the beauty of his own country. From there Bima always invites Kiara to travel to tourist cities in Indonesia if their schedule allows to take a vacation together.

It took two hours for Kiara to fold and tidy up her clothes into the suitcase. It takes a long time. Because most of Kiara's clothes are hung in the wardrobe. Kiara had to neatly fold all her clothes in order to fit into the two suitcases Kiara had in this apartment. But what makes the old Kiara do it is the memory of Bima. Kiara rarely cried. Despite the painful situation, Kiara rarely cried. Not crying does not mean you cannot feel pain. Several times his memories with Bima suddenly appeared, making Kiara reflect long enough and stop the activities of his hand who was folding clothes. His heart ached remembering the memories of his togetherness with Bima.

After packing the clothes, Kiara was about to pack the kitchen utensils that would be brought to Aldi's house. But Kiara abandoned her intention because she got a phone call from Aldi.

"Where? Have you finished shopping?" Aldi asked without further ado or greeting.

"Hello, Al. I'm done shopping. It's packing up in the old apartment." There was no reply on the other end. Kiara tried to calm down and waited for Aldi to respond.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you because I was worried you might be distracted. Maybe your business at the office is very important and needs extra attention to get it done." Kiara tried to defend herself even though Aldi was used to not like to ask questions.

"You're still a long time in the apartment?"

"Maybe in a minute. Just pack the kitchen equipment. Will you be able to come home later this afternoon?"

"Let me call." The sentence ended Aldi's phone call. Kiara does not know if Aldi is busy or does not like Kiara coming back here. To a place full of his past with Bima.

But whatever Aldi thought, Aldi did not speak a bit badly that hurt Kiara's feelings. So Kiara will assume fine her relationship with Aldi. Kiara had explained the reason here even though Aldi had not asked her.

The next hour Kiara finished packing the kitchen items. Because the size of all these electronic kitchen appliances is all large, there are 4 storage boxes of plastic materials that Kiara uses to package.3 boxes of which contain kitchen utensils. While one more box contains groceries in the kitchen and refrigerator is very dear if stale and wasted.

After packing everything up, Kiara cleaned the kitchen and the entire apartment first. This place will be long unoccupied. When will someone be living again. Kiara also turned off electronic devices such as refrigerators and lights after everything was clean.

Kiara is done. Kiara was about to get out of the apartment and started carrying all the items bit by bit to her car in the garage at the bottom floor.

Goodbye to the past.

When Kiara opened the door of the apartment about to come out, Kiara was astonished to see Aldi whose hand was being raised. It seems Aldi will press his apartment bell.

Aldi himself was also surprised, his arrival really fitting when Kiara was about to come out with a lot of luggage?
