Verlita felt Mike's warm breath blowing across her face. He could not escape that sight. Unknowingly, Verlita also could no longer hold back from getting close. He could feel the warmth of Mike's body getting closer to him, and his heart rate was getting more and more irregular.

However, suddenly Mike's office door opens abruptly, deciding on the almost magical moment. Aldi, the owner of the company, stood in the doorway with a shocked and confused expression.

Mike and Verlita looked at each other, surprised and awkward. All of the feelings and emotions suddenly turned stiff and uncertain. Aldi looked like he didn't know what to say, glued to his place.

They both understand that the moment is gone and will not return. Mike took his hand off Verlita, and Verlita tidied herself up on the chair. The gazes of the two split apart, and a tension-filled atmosphere filled the room.

Aldi finally took a deep breath, trying to overcome his surprise and confusion. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt" he said in a low voice.

Mike and Verlita both shook their heads quickly, trying to calm this awkward state. They know that whatever almost happened was supposed to be their secret, but now there is Aldi who makes them have to overcome the consequences.

"What can I help you with, Aldi?" mike asked in an ordinary tone, even though his heart was still pounding.

Aldi looked like he was trying to find words. "I think it's a good time, I'm sorry," Aldi didn't wait for any response from Mike and immediately closed Mike's office door from the outside.

That magic moment for Mike may be gone, but the trail still sticks in Mike's mind. With this, more and more question marks in Mike's mind about Verlita's feelings for him. If you think about Verlita's response just now, Mike can conclude that Verlita does not mind the physical closeness of it.

Mike and Verlita are back in sight despite both having their thoughts on each other.

Mike shook his head gently. "You don't have to apologize. We were both involved in that moment."

"I'm sorry, sir." Verlita did not wait for Mike's answer and left the room half-run.

Seeing that made Mike worried and wanted to chase after the woman. But Mike is worried it will make things worse between the two. So that Mike finally undoes his intention and takes a deep breath while thinking about all the things that have just happened.

Mike thought of Verlita's response who physically seemed interested in the closeness of the two of them. Verlita did not reject him who was trying to get close, even almost kissed him. There's a good feeling thinking about it. Mike's heart is so flowery. But there's also a big question mark for Mike, why would Verlita?
