Relationship Without Status

"Are you two a couple?" Kiara couldn't help but be curious to see chef Jung with Assistant Nanda embracing each other.

But neither of them answered Kiara's question directly. They both smiled and looked at each other. It was as if laughing at Kiara on a question whose answer was obvious.

"Thank you for this delicious dish. I'm sorry my wife intruded on your privacy." Aldi is speaking. Trying to make Kiara no longer ask this question.

"Thank you, Mr. Aldi. We are happy to see the couple who spent their time dating here. Please don't hesitate." Nanda Sahut.

"We'd like to excuse you for cleaning the cookware. Please enjoy your nights here longer." Nanda added, Chef Jung and assistant Nanda then bowed and returned to the kitchen area.

Both of them looked bright with smiles on their faces. Then continued their work in the kitchen while joking in Korean which Aldi did not understand.

The translator assistant served soft drinks to Aldi and Kiara's table. It seems that his job is not just to be chef Jung's translator. But also serve the guests who come.

"Al, do you think they're a couple?" Kiara is still curious.

"Why do you think they're a couple?" Aldi asked back.

"Seeing how the two were joking and interacting, they seemed to understand each other even with just a look or a facial expression. We who are married are not at that stage." Kiara even seemed to complain about their relationship.

"Like it. Thank you Al." Answer Kiara.

"It's normal, baby. My goal in life is to make you happy. No need for any formality of thanks."

Aldi has not had time to answer Kiara's words because of the focus of driving. Kiara herself remembered her curiosity about chef Jung's relationship with Assistant Nanda.

"Do you think they're dating?" Kiara is still interested in this topic.

"I don't think they're in the courtship stage yet. They simply enjoy their closeness in their daily lives."

"But they embrace each other, Al."

"It could have been a form of partner support work to give a sense of calm to chef Jung who is pounding waiting for our comments on his cooking." Aldi answered without expression anymore.

"What's? I still have a hard time believing, Al."

"The culture and scale of priorities in Korea are very different from in our country, Ra. There they will not get married if they do not feel established to support their wife and children later. But here married as long as there is love. No matter whether he has a job to support his wife or not.
