Exchanging Bride

So where did you go last night, Al?

Kiara is on her way to the orphanage. Aldi was beside him. Drive quietly and calmly.

Last night Aldi left just like that after Kiara told her her plan to leave for the orphanage.

Kiara thinks Aldi is angry and leaves Kiara alone at the cafe. There is the same pain when you think of Aldi having lunch with another woman. But Kiara had to face her pain and put it aside as if she felt nothing.

"This is the order." The waiter came to disperse whatever Kiara was thinking.

"Thank you." Kiara saw his order and Aldi's food and beverage orders were the same. Kiara just let out a long breath and started eating.

Kiara painstakingly tried to chew the food in her mouth. Eat it until it runs out of a mouthful for a mouthful.

After finishing her meal, Kiara was about to leave. Just wanting to think about how Kiara could go home, Kiara was surprised by Aldi who was suddenly in front of her.

"You're still here?" Kiara pointed at Aldi with her index finger, still with an astonished look.

"of course. Cook me back and leave you alone."

"It could be that."

"It is impossible that I will leave you, Ra." Aldi ruffled Kiara's hair in a fit of anxiety. She smiled sweetly. Kiara became even more astonished, what made Aldi look happy.

"Why do you think he looks so happy?" Kiara glanced suspiciously at Aldi's smile that never faded.

"Yes dong. Would like to vacation the same as you out of town." Reply Aldi relaxed. Aldi sat in his chair earlier and began to eat his ration food that was not touched at all by Kiara.

"Vacation?" Kiara also sat back waiting for Aldi's explanation. But Aldi did not ignore it, Aldi ate with food in front of him. Let Kiara wait for him to eat until it runs out.

After daydreaming about his dinner with Aldi, Kiara still looked at the man. There is still a big question mark about Aldi's sudden departure last night.

Last night Aldi didn't explain anything. After eating the part of the food he ordered greedily, Aldi invited Kiara home with pleasure.

There was no conversation this morning between the two. Kiara is getting curious. Just keep staring at Aldi who is focused on driving. Trying to find answers by researching his relaxed expression from the very beginning they set out.

"I know you're stunned by my good looks. But what has to be seen since we left? It's been an hour." Aldi sees the clock on the dashboard screen.

Kiara was only surprised and turned her gaze forward. His face was hot so shamefully.

"You want to stop buying cold drinks first? You're kind of hot." Aldi glanced at Kiara's face from the car's rearview mirror.

"No need. I'm not hot. AC was raised." This time Kiara pressed the button to enlarge the car AC.

"I went to call some people last night about my leave tomorrow." Aldi suddenly explained what was the source of Kiara's curiosity since last night.

"I didn't go to see it because I was still thinking about the work I had to do so I could be left on leave with you. Ever since last night I've been thinking about which job I can do overtime before we leave or which can be done remotely."

Kiara was astonished by Aldi's lengthy explanation. Kiara will ask for an explanation. But Aldi told me everything without Kiara asking.

There was a sense of pleasure in Kiara's heart. But Kiara is almost out of words to respond to Aldi's story.

"So last night you went to make a phone call, Al? You suddenly left without saying anything. I thought you were mad." Kiara stopped talking as Aldi grabbed Kiara's hand that was on her lap.

"Did I look angry when I came back to eat my dinner?"

"No. That's why I'm also confused. You'll look happy when you say you're on vacation with me." Kiara let go of Aldi's hand.

"I'm sorry I didn't immediately clear up all my plans." Aldi again grabbed Kiara's hand. This time it got tighter so Kiara could not let go of her grasp.

"I don't know how many days you're gonna get, Ra. For Monday, I can take a leave of absence. But the next 2 days I have to prepare who can back up my work." Aldi clasped Kiara's hand tightly.

"I was also still thinking about work while driving. There are a few things that I put together once I arrive in your city. After mapping everything out, I realized that you were staring at me." Aldi turned to Kiara for a moment.

"I don't want to promise you a vacation there until your leave ends but suddenly leave on the third day."

Kiara's eyes turned red. If Kiara could cry, tears would have fallen on her cheeks. But Kiara is quite difficult to let out tears except so sad.

"You should have said." Kiara now returned Aldi's hand. Kiara now held Aldi's palm.

"I don't want company until my day off is over. I just miss them. I will also return home after giving up longing. Why don't you talk about all your plans!" Kiara's intonation grew louder and louder until she shouted at Aldi.

Aldi suddenly pulled over the car.

Kiara was shocked that Aldi stopped his car. His emotions that had increased were now changing in surprise.

"I'm sorry" Aldi took off his seatbelt and carried Kiara into his arms.

"I'm used to planning everything to perfection. Busy with my own thoughts, Ra. Sorry." Aldi hugged Kiara.

"Next time involve me, Al."

"Yes. Next time remind me. Reprimand me if you don't give me an explanation."

"Can I do that? Can I rebuke you or ask?"

"certainly could. You have the right to do that."

"Hak?"

"Yes, ra. You are the most worthy of me."

Hearing Aldi's last words, Kiara felt ashamed. Kiara only realized that she was in Aldi's arms.

Kiara tried to escape from Aldi's embrace. But Aldi hugged her even tighter.

"Let me hug you a little longer." Aldi drowned his face at Kiara's neck. Smoke the scent of her hair shampoo.
