A Little Misunderstanding

"Al, were you the same Verlita as this romantic?"

Kiara's question suddenly made Aldi instantly freeze. Aldi tried to remember how his relationship with Verlita used to be. Aldi tried to find any romantic memories among them like this.

But Aldi's residence trying to find his memories with Verlita was even misunderstood by Kiara. He thought Aldi was nostalgic for his past. He thinks Aldi is dissolving in his sweet memories with his ex.

After feeling long enough to wait for Aldi's answer, Kiara could not take it anymore. Kiara got up from her seat and looked at the sky before her.

Yes, Aldi and Kiara are still inside the Cable Car on Sentosa Island. The two had just finished their romantic dinner.

"Have I not been romantic enough tonight?" Aldi asked his wife while sitting in his dining chair.

"Tonight was very romantic. Until I'm afraid you often do the same romance as the person you once had in your heart." Kiara was still staring at the night sky in the distance from behind the glass of the cable car. There was no desire to look back even a little at Aldi. Moreover, the desire to return to his seat to see the cold expression on his face.

Just as the two of them were silent with each other's thoughts, there was a sound of notification that they had arrived at the destination train station. Kiara jumped out of the cable car for the first time without caring Aldi was still sitting pensive in the car or not.

There was a sense of tightness back in his chest. Kiara regrets mentioning Aldi's past back. He knew clearly that it would hurt. But he bravely brought it up. There was a sense of anger and regret in him, but that feeling was more to himself. He himself questioned Aldi's relationship and feelings towards Verlita.

Kiara just kept going faster and faster no matter where she headed. Kiara did not care about high heels that were not suitable for walking far enough on the road that stretched before her.

When Kiara was about to fall, Aldi managed to grab one of Kiara's hands until he did not hit the ground.

"Ciara. Stop thinking about my past!" Aldi snapped at Kiara. Aldi did not expect Kiara to get out of the cable car first and ran to leave him alone without knowing where to go.

"Don't you dare yell at me!" Shouted Kiara. Kiara releases Aldi's hand against her wrist.

"Sorry." Said Aldi when releasing his grip to Kiara. But then Aldi grabs Kiara and takes her into his arms. Aldi hugged her tightly.

"It's night. We're going to the resort. We continue talking there. In the open air like this is too cold for you who are just wearing a thin dress." Bisik Aldi while still hugging Kiara.

What Aldi said is true. The dress she was wearing was not suitable to be outside of such a cold room.

Aldi saw that Kiara was starting to feel the cold. Aldi's expensive suit was removed and put on Kiara's shoulder. That made Kiara increasingly unable to refute Aldi's invitation to rest at the resort. The warmth again enveloped Kiara's heart due to the suit perched on her shoulder at the moment.

Kiara was silent on the way to the resort. Until entering the room Kiara was silent. There's no word he said. Kiara consistently stared at the night sky that she could see from the balcony of her room. The room window towards the balcony has curtains that open. The sky was clear from their room.

'Starting tonight, every look at the sky will make me always remember the beautiful Singapore sky like this.' Kiara just nodded. It was too bad to say anything to Aldi.

Kiara turned her head towards the handsome man in this room. The husband who had taken her heart looked at her. Waiting for any answer that will come out of Kiara's lips.

But Kiara just kept quiet. He stared at the suitcase in the corner. Close to the wardrobe. Kiara chose to approach the suitcase to pick up a shirt instead. There is still a sense of reluctance to talk to Aldi. Kiara wants calm.

Aldi waited for Kiara to speak. Not turning angry or demanding apapyn to Kiara. Aldi wanted to observe more deeply how his wife's mood was and what exactly triggered her silence.

There were already several options regarding the reason Kiara had silenced her. But Aldi still wants to know how deep he has hurt his wife. Kiara had to express her anger following all the thoughts she had been suppressing.

Kiara felt quite fresh after the shower. His mind felt not as heavy as it was. Same with his mood. But once out of the bathroom, the room was so quiet. Kiara wondered, 'Where is Aldi? Is he probably asleep?'

Kiara approached the bed, but the bed was still untouched. Aldi is not in the bedroom. Kiara chose to go out and see what Aldi was doing.

Kiara looked into the living room where there was a TV and a sofa. Then proceed to the mini kitchen that becomes one with the dining table. Aldi doesn't look there. Finally, Kiara came out through the door in the living room. There is a beautiful swimming pool not too big. The pool was designed to be used by the occupants of the resort rooms that Kiara and Aldi occupy. Visitors to other resorts can not swim there.

Kiara looked around the pool that had minimalist lighting. The atmosphere there tends to be dim. Kiara squinted her eyes to look for Aldi.

Aldi realizes Kiara is looking for him around the private pool area. Aldi who had been lying still in the pool recliner chose to move, then stood up from his sleep and walked towards Kiara.

Kiara finally saw Aldi walking towards her steadily. Aldi's intense gaze made his heart flutter.

'Is it possible that Aldi will be angry because I have been cold?' Think Kiara .

Aldi was still walking slowly towards Kiara. Kiara's mind wandered back, 'Don't she don't realize I was cold and angry with her.'

Aldi had already wanted to grab Kiara and embrace her into his arms. But Aldi recalled Kiara's reaction when she suddenly hugged him after getting off the cable car. Hugs are not the thing that will make it better at the moment. Aldi tried to think about how to get Kiara to settle her anger.
