Wedding ring

Relaxing on the beach is fun. As much as walking, his feet did not feel sore. A short shower with a warm shower is enough for Kiara to relieve fatigue and clean up.

As soon as Kiara opened the bathroom door, Aldi opened the bedroom door. The two stared at each other for a moment.

"Here you come, Al." Kiara tried to suppress her embarrassment noticed by Aldi. Hearing that Aldi did not immediately give an answer and was still staring at her, Kiara approached her suitcase to pick up a soft home dress that had been prepared as a change of clothes at night.

"I'm gonna take a shower first." It was just a sentence that Aldi spoke before passing into the bathroom. There was no response from Kiara. But Kiara knew Aldi was not being as cold as usual. His gaze was as if he wanted to swallow Kiara roundly.

Kiara immediately changed clothes quickly, worried that Aldi would suddenly come out of the bathroom because of something. Feeling comfortable in a dress that was still below the knee with one-third of her arm, Kiara came out of the room to see the dinner that Aldi was carrying.

The aroma of seafood cuisine placed on the table of their lounge room at the resort invites Kiara's appetite. Kiara who initially did not feel hungry is now starving to want to eat immediately. Luckily, Aldi was only in the bathroom for a while. Not during the time Kiara spent inside there before.

"Al, let's eat. It was so fragrant for food. I'm so hungry." Hearing Kiara's call, Aldi only responded with a faint smile. Although unanswered, Aldi's smile was enough to make Kiara endlessly look at his figure who was taking a change of clothes.

Kiara opened all the food parcels one by one as Aldi returned to the bathroom to change clothes.

"Aren't you tired?" Sapa Aldi while sitting next to Kiara was about to eat their dinner.

Kiara can smell the shampoo and body wash Aldi refreshing. Making Kiara calmly inhale the scent of the man sitting barely spaced next to her. Kiara tried to control herself and was not tempted to look at her from this close. Kiara would do something unnatural that was embarrassing. "No. Maybe because I was too happy. You alone?"

"Not really." Aldi put food in his mouth. The two of them stopped chatting and enjoyed their meals.

"Where did you buy this from? Away from the resort?" Kiara couldn't bear to not ask after finishing most of her meal. The taste of the cuisine is in accordance with the taste of Kiara.

"Lumayan. I used a motorbike provided by the resort. So even though it's a long way away it doesn't take long."

"Oh yeah. The motorbike can be used for sightseeing as well as dong."

"Will we go for another walk?"

"Hehe. Yes, if you want to go."

"I have a job. Want to wait about an hour?"

"You've got a lot of work left behind, Al?" Kiara looked into Aldi's eyes. Determine whether Aldi will lie or change expression.

"I brought a laptop. I can do a few things from here. The important thing is to enjoy your vacation."

Aldi moved from his seat next to Kiara. The food is over. Wash your hands and pick up the laptop in your suitcase.

Seeing that Aldi was about to start working, Kiara cleaned the table where they both ate. Aldi usually likes to use the living room table and sit on the floor carpet when facing his laptop. Aldi also sees Kiara cleaning the table for herself. So that Aldi who was originally going to do his work in the bedroom turned to the table that Kiara had cleaned.

Feeling Aldi is in working mode, Kiara does not ask much or intend to invite chat. Kiara was just sitting on the sofa next to Aldi. The two sat close together, although one of them was on a carpeted floor. Aldi sat down with a view of Kiara's smooth legs beside him that were not covered by anything. Making Aldi had to be extra focused staring at the screen of his laptop without being tempted to glance to the side.

Kiara herself sat down while opening her hape. Distracting the focus of a man who seems serious typing a lot of things on his laptop. Aldi's aura felt so cold when looking straight at his laptop screen sharply.

"I'm in front of our resort room huh. Wanna see the sea at night." Kiara got up from the sofa and said goodbye to Aldi.

"Ens. Don't go far." Aldi spoke while still not stopping typing and staring at his laptop screen. Kiara was surprised Aldi responded to his words. Usually if Aldi is already in serious mode working this way will not bother responding to Kiara.

Kiara sighed at the night air that smelled of the ocean. It's so much fun that Kiara can spend time in this place. The room Kiara was staying in was floating on top of the not-so-deep ocean. But because the room Kiara occupied was at the very end, Kiara was sure the ocean under her feet was the deepest compared to the other rooms in front of her.

Kiara watched the night view from in front of her room. The distance to the other room is quite far. Although the wooden inn has low noise resistance and soundproofing, Kiara still can not hear any sound from other rooms in the distance. There was only the sound of the sea breeze and silence that Kiara could enjoy. There was no other sound that disturbed the calm of his night.

Kiara stared at the sea that was right under her feet. Seeing the sea under the resort's deck made Kiara stare at the ring on her ring finger. The ring that Aldi had pinned during their marriage contract. A plain ring with one eye of white color that is said to be a diamond.

Kiara took the ring off her finger and glared at the light under the resort lamp. The shine is good, Kiara thought. Ever since the ring was pinned to his finger by Aldi, Kiara had no desire at all to notice the ring or care about the ring that was already coiled on her finger. But tonight the sparkle of this ring is so attractive in Kiara's eyes. Kiara smiled just by looking at the ring. He felt his heart so warm despite the strong night wind.

Suddenly the grip of the tip of her thumb and index finger flanking the ring could not hold her wedding ring from falling down. It seemed like Kiara who was daydreaming along with the wind's tightness made the ring fall. It took a split second for Kiara to realize that her ring had come off and hit the wooden floor and then fell into the ocean.

Kiara who was aware of what happened did not want to part with her ring. Without thinking, Kiara jumped into the cold sea under the resort's deck. Kiara did not care about the coldness of the sea water that suddenly ambushed her. Kiara stuffed her head in search of the ring that should still be drifting not far from her sight. The ring should not have sunk too deep. The resort lights are quite a lot to help Kiara find the existence of her ring that drifts further and further down the ocean slowly.

Kiara swam down with all her might. Trying to get ahead of the ring. He stretched out his hand to catch the ring into his hand. Just a little more Kiara arrived. Within a distance of one more palm, Kiara could reach for her ring. And Kiara got the ring in her hand.

Kiara's eyes sparkled grasping the ring. It made Kiara involuntarily inhale a small amount of air that carried seawater into her nose and throat. Kiara felt suffocated. Kiara has to swim up. But the water that went down his throat made his chest burn. Kiara has no energy to swim up. Her lungs that were infused with water made her chest ache and increasingly tight. Kiara can't breathe. Kiara can't move anymore. Kiara began to close her eyes under the ocean by still not letting go of her hand against her wedding ring.
