Dusk Rainbow

Dusk Rainbow
Explain

Still in his confusion, Raisya recalled what had happened, his throbbing head making him complain of pain. Mother and mother Aya hugged from the left and right sides, while the father of Randu and father Mahesa stood beside his wife respectively.

"Mother, I want to see Syakila. I want to apologize to her" said Raisya, who still feels guilty.

Devan was relieved. Finally he still heard the soft voice, the spoiled voice that characterised his wife.

Mother smiled and rubbed Raisya's cheek gently. The first daughter of his noble hearted friend.

"I'm sorry for what? All this is Syakila's fault, she's too childish. He told everything to my mother. It is precisely the mother who apologizes, because Syakila, you become like this."

Unceasingly the mother held Raisya with her affection.

Devan retreated back and peered behind the transparent glass door. He has not been able to face Raisya who must have been disappointed with him all day.

Raisya circulated her gaze, staring one by one in the room.

Where's Devan going? Is he with Alisa now. If it's true, it means he's more important than me.

"Ma, am I thirsty?" Mama Aya took a glass of water as well as a straw. Help him drink with a weak lying state.

"Next time do not drive yourself, if there is no one to take you, you can call me," said Mahesa's father.

Raisya gave a small nod, even though it was impossible for him to do so.

After gulping down half a glass of water, Raisya felt an overwhelming pain in his legs. Pain that he had never felt before.

Raisya stared at his stiffened, motionless legs.

"Ma, mother, why do my legs hurt so much, and why does the bandage extend to the knee?" tanya Raisya endured the pain that spread to the thigh.

The entire room was confused and looked at each other. No one dared to talk, afraid Raisya pretended to know the true condition.

"You've got an injury, honey," said Devan from the doorstep. Finally he ventured out and approached Raisya who was lying on top of the gurney.

Brother Devan, if he cares more about Alisa, why come here.

Raisya turned his gaze the other way, he was still annoyed with Devan who had already lied to him.

"Mother comes out first," said mother followed by father, so with mama Aya and father Randu who came out. Raisya's hand clasped tightly, the pain evenly spread making it difficult to move.

Now in the room there are only Raisya and Devan.

"Sister came here?" asked Raisya in a soft voice. Even so, the ketus tone can be captured by Devan.

"I want to apologize" said Devan, pulling up a chair and sitting next to the bed.

From the bottom of his heart, Raisya has not been able to forget the incident that made him chaotic.

"Sorry for what?" Raisya was still staring at the window that was covered in brown curtains.

"I'm sorry for this afternoon and this morning, I should have been honest with you. I just want to help Alisa, that's all."

Raisya was a little relieved, at least Devan did not hide anything from him.

"What if I don't allow you to help Alisa anymore" Raisya said with quivering lips, her hand still adorned with an infusion needle was raised to clean the clear liquid that was soaking her cheeks.

Devan grabbed Raisya's hand and held it tightly.

"In that case, I won't do it again."

"really?" Raisya turned his head, staring at the look of Devan's eyes that looked serious.

Devan nodded his head then bowed, bringing his face closer right beside Raisya's head. Kissing the woman's forehead gently and long until a clear circle from Devan's eyes moistened Raisya's cheeks.

"Sister crying?" raisya asked, wiping her cheek, making sure it was her husband's tears. Her overly soft heart instantly digested what was happening to her current husband.

"I cried happy because I have a wife like you, don't leave me" Devan said from the heart.

Now all is answered already, before being asked, Devan was sensitive and told everything about the incident this morning and afternoon.

Raisya stretched out her hand until she touched Devan's sturdy cheek.

"Does my brother love me?"

Devan furrowed his brows, how did Raisya ask like that, upon hearing himself the accident alone Devan almost took his life. Isn't that love?"

"You don't believe me?"  ask Devan who went up to the bed. Tilting her body and wrapping her hands around Raisya's stomach.

"Not in disbelief, I just want to hear it."

"I love you" Devan replied instantly.

"Don't ever think I'd go back to Alisa, she's just my past, I helped her eat because Andre asked, and I bought her porridge this afternoon just out of pity, nothing more."

Hearing the word eat, suddenly Raisya's stomach thrashed, even occasionally making a small sound.

Devan pressed the button that was attached to the wall. He knew what Raisya was feeling right now.

" Excuse me" said the nurse from the doorway. But Devan, did not change his position in the slightest and still hugged Raisya.

"Please get me some food for my wife. He was hungry, Devan said without staring.

"Suster," said Raisya shyly, he tried to take off Devan's embrace, but Devan's greater energy overwhelmed him. Forced Raisya to quietly accept the man's treatment despite embarrassment.

"How's the doctor doing?" ask Sister Ely from two meters away from the bed.

"Thank God be good, Sus."

"I'll get you some food for the doctor. Please wait a minute."

Outside the room, all were still gathered.Mahesa's father sat among his children who filled the chairs.

"No one said Raisya's leg was broken" Dad asked firmly.

Everyone nodded in understanding.

"I am ready to carry Raisya wherever he goes" Daffa said.

All eyes were on Daffa who was scratching his head.

"If Devan's brother knew, surely you would be strangled" David said, mimicking the stifling style of the man.

Daffa swallowed his saliva with great difficulty, knowing that David's ninety-five percent words must have been true considering Devan's glass earlier.

Sister Ely brought food back.

"Raisya asked for food?" ask Mahesa's father.

"Yes, sir," replied Sister Ely briefly.

"Excuse me." Instantly Sister Ely lowered her gaze as she saw Devan almost just landed her lips on Raisya's cheek.

The misbehaved Devan finally rubbed Raisya's lips gently.

"Are you sure my leg was just injured?" asked Raisya again when the pain came back with greatness, until he grimaced.

"Yes, how does it feel?" ask Devan.

"So much, like a broken one."

Your leg is broken, honey. I'm sorry." Devan can only speak in his heart.
