Susan was crying in Naimah's arms. He misses the figure of David, a man who some time ago legitimately became a prospective father, he continued. Almost a week after Alfan's reception, David only visited him twice, and then on the night after returning home from work to make the boy fussy.
Devan and Raisya also began to undergo their respective activities, in addition to improving conditions, Raisya also had to take responsibility with his work.
"Let's go, let's go to dad's house" whined Susan as she buried her face on her mother's shoulder.
"Yes, I called you first, but Susan promised, if you can't find me, Susan can't cry anymore."
Susan rubbed her two wet cheeks and nodded.
Naimah went into her room and took her cell phone. The clock indicates nine o'clock in the morning. Naimah hesitated to contact David, knowing that the master was busy with his work.
"Darling, it will be late afternoon, if you have come home," Naimah again persuaded.
"No way," he said accompanied by a headband.
Naimah sent a message to David.
Assalamualaikum, Mas. I'm sorry to interrupt, Susan's crying, she wants to see you, can we video call for a second.
Naimah sent the message, and it was immediately opened by David.
Waalaikumsalam, I'm in a meeting. So it can't. Reply from David.
Naimah let out a long sigh, looking for a way to calm Susan down without fulfilling her request.
"Honey, Dad is in a meeting, so can't meet Susan, later when you come home you must be here," said Naimah subtly.
"Really, Mom?" ask Susan to make sure.
Naimah.
Naimah's phone rang again, apparently a message from David who entered.
I've asked the driver to pick you up, all bring lunch, we eat together here.
Naimah develops a smile and puts down her phone.
Even when you are busy, you still have time to obey Susan's request.
"Now Susan's taking a shower, I told us to go to the office, so today Susan can meet me."
Susan came down from Naimah's lap. Like getting the grand prize, the boy jumped up in excitement.
Naimah wears a dress made of Jersey material pastel color with matching hijab, she looks elegant, despite having a child, Naimah is still very beautiful and charming.
Almost thirty minutes waiting, finally there was a car that went into the yard, as David ordered, he brought food from home.
"She was told David to pick me up?" tanya Naimah approached the driver who had just got out of the car.
"Yes, Mom. Please!"
The old man opened the car door for Naimah and Susan.
The car is traveling at medium speed. The streets in the morning were a little crowded. Various vehicles passed by passing until almost crowded the road.
Naimah looked out the door, enjoying the beauty of the city she rarely saw, though her face was calm, her chest was rumbling and her brain was chaotic.
"Sir, what's in many people's offices?" asked Naimah innocently.
The driver looked at Naimah from the reflection of the rearview mirror and commented on the smile.
"Many, Non. Its employees alone were approximately two hundred people, not to mention cleaning service, guards and upper staff, estimated to be almost three hundred people."
How I feel ashamed.
Naimah observed her appearance again and tidied up her hijab.
Nearly thirty minutes into the street, the driver stopped his car right in front of the entrance.
Naimah's eyes skimmed the towering building for the second time. His hands were cold and sweating.
About employees here know yes, if I'm a future wife of David?
"Do I need to deliver, Non?" The driver opened a glass door for Naimah.
Naimah shook without a sound.
So happy, Susan ran away on the ground floor, she felt comfortable in that luxurious place.
"Mom, where's dad?" susan asked one of the employees who was next to the receptionist.
"Whose father?" ask the beautiful woman in the black and white uniform. His face was so thin that it scared Susan and looked down.
"Hey, you don't know, Mr. David's wife-to-be is a widow, maybe this is his son" said another employee who had just arrived.
Naimah who was behind the door stopped her steps, clearly she heard the woman's words that made her shrink.
"Widow!" scream the other one.
"Yes, I heard, that woman that Dr. Raisya helped when she came to the hospital."
"I'm sure she must have seduced Mr. David and used her son. Otherwise, it's possible that the super perfect Mr. David fell in love with the Widow."
The speech was like the stab of a thousand knives, Naimah's heart ached to the mouth.
I'm not that kind of person. I never used Susan, nor did I ever tease David.
Although his body trembled, Naimah tried to be strong, he did not want to make David ashamed because of his attitude.
"Assalamualaikum.." said Naimah in a soft voice.
All answered in unison and looked at Naimah with a cynical look.
Susan took Naimah's leg. He did not dare to face those who vilified his mother.
"Mother, I want to meet father," whined Susan for the umpteenth time, the boy pulled the top of his mother's shirt.
Naimah nodded slowly and smiled at the three employees who were staring in front of her daughter.
"Sir, I'm sorry to interrupt, where's David's room?" ask Naimah.
"On the third floor, I got on that elevator." He pointed at the elevator door not far from where they were standing.
"Good, Ma'am. Thank you." Thank you."
Naimah grabbed Susan's hand and passed.
"Beautiful anyway, unfortunately have to find a husband in a low way."
"Maybe her husband was also thrown out because he was unable to fulfill his request, so now Mr. David is the victim."
Oh God, strengthen me. Tell them I'm not as bad as they say I am.
Naimah just stood in front of the elevator door. He did not know how to suppress it and was also afraid of being wrong.
Finally he approached one of the cleaning services that passed behind him.
"Sir, I'm going to the third floor. Is there an emergency staircase?" ask Naimah.
The woman stared at Naimah's appearance from top to bottom and bowed politely, while the employee who had mocked her giggled without wanting to help her.
"That's it" the man replied as he pointed at the stairs in the corner.
"It turns out the village too."
Naimah did not heed that voice, for her now the most important thing is to bring Susan and David together.
Tired, that's what Naimah felt, even occasionally he stopped to catch his breath and continued his steps.
Thank God, with a full struggle he was finally able to pass some stairs that stuck out.
Obviously they put me down, now I know, who David is, he's the man who's the man here.
